Overall good, but the area is dangerous, my friend was robbed at 5:00 am, 10 meters away from the hotel entrance.

Great little hotel, but not in a safe neighborhood
I've stayed at Hotel Condo Parque multiple times over the past 6 years, and it's always been a nice place to spend a night or two as we travel through Santo Domingo. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the bar area is a great place to drink a beer and use the internet. But on this trip, our car was burglarized *three* times in two days - twice during the night, and once during the middle of the day. The car was always parked immediately in front of the hotel, and the night watchman claimed to be watching the car all night. The management refused to offer any reimbursement for the damage to our car, as they told us such burglaries occur constantly. As much as I've enjoyed this hotel, I would never recommend it to anyone who requires a parking space, as your car will NOT be safe.

Not a bad choice near Zona Colonial
I thought the beach is next to the hostel, but actually that beach is just a cliff. It's close to Zona Colonial though. The hostel itself is okay and the staff try really hard to help even though they don't speak any English.

Una experiencia muy horrible
Me alojé en una habitación para tres machos. Cuando llegué al hotel era tarde, pero un hombre aceptó muy amablemente mi llegada. Pero, la condición de la habitación era muy mala. El abanico ni aire acondicionado no funcionaron, además, no podía usar las tomas. No podía cargar mi computadora ni teléfono. Como hacía mucho calor en la habitación, quería abrir las ventanas pero no pude; las ventanas estaban fijadas. Al menos, podía encender la luz en la habitación pero no podía encender una en el baño.
