"The room was clean and had a lovely view. The front desk was not very efficient. AC unit is extremely loud and sounds like a plane is taking off in your room."

"We stayed at the Wine Valley Inn for three nights, having selected the property based on its 5-star ratings. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet those expectations. Although the receptionist was initially helpful and agreed that our room would be serviced daily by 1:00 PM, this arrangement was not honored. On the first day, while certain items were attended to, the room was not thoroughly cleaned. The second day was particularly disappointing; we returned to an unserviced room and had to contact the front desk to resolve the matter. In response, an employee named Javi was sent to our room, but he only provided fresh towels. When we requested full service, he informed us that his 'boss told him not to' clean or make the bed. We were forced to contact the desk a second time to have the service completed correctly. Despite my wife expressing our serious concerns regarding these repeated lapses, the front desk staff failed to offer a satisfactory solution. "

"The room isn't fancy but it is spacious and clean. The hotel is right in the middle of town so it is a short walk from everything. I enjoyed the limited breakfast items but I did hit up the local market for yogurt and fresh fruit. The pool and jacuzzi were very clean and enjoyable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. "

"The Hyatt was a reasonably priced pet-friendly hotel in Santa Barbara so I thought I would give it a try. A true pet-friendly hotel should have a couple of essential things available to guests and their pets. First, you should provide a location on the property where it is suggested you can take your pup to relieve themselves. It was only on the second day that I found a side exit where there was a bag dispenser and a garbage can for poop. This hotel is located on a busy freeway access road with really nowhere to go and nowhere pleasant to walk. Second, we found out only after checking in that there was no way to open the windows in our room to air it out after a night in a smallish room with our large dog. That is not great when traveling with dogs and the first hotel that I have ever been to that doesn't have working windows (other than a high-rise). Disappointing. "

The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Solvang and within easy walking distance to all the shops, ice cream spots, candy stores, restaurants, and bakeries. Our room was ready earlier than expected, which allowed us to settle in and start enjoying our vacation right away—such a great start! The room itself was spotless and had a beautiful view of the pool and surrounding countryside. What really made our stay special was the thoughtful hospitality. The kids loved that the staff handed out popsicles throughout the day, along with bottled water—such a fun and refreshing touch! We also absolutely loved dining at Craft House at Corque—it quickly became our favorite spot for delicious food and great drinks during our stay. Overall, this was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay!"
