"Solid"

"The good: large rooms, clean, daily cleaning by their staff (I haven't seen that anywhere since the pandemic). The medium: no carpeting. The bad: breakfast (sweet roll and instant oatmeal, no protein, no milk, no juice), facial tissues are super-thin and cheap. Bottom line: Mama says we won't be back."

"Bed sheets had significant sized, yellow-tinted, dried stains. The replacement sheets provided by staff also had various stains as well. Bathtub/shower floor was visibly brown in most areas. It provokes the thought of what else is not cleaned appropriately, or at all, in the room."

"The grounds were immaculate, parking was easily accessible, and an elevator for convenience. Also the pool and hot tub were wonderful! Location was walking distance to shops in Solvang."

"Not enough parking spots for all 30 units. There are 23 spots which means some are forced to look for street parking which is very tight. The kitchen could use some instructions on how to use the espresso machine & the oven."

"Wonderful location just a couple of blocks from the State Street action. The lovely grounds and cottagelike ambiance made this the perfect place to stay for a few nights on our first visit to Santa Barbara."

"My husband, my mother and I had a wonderful experience at the Genevieve hotel. The hotel was beautiful, with lovely grounds. The wine and cheese, desert bar and breakfast were delicious and we had a really nice dinner at the Victor. Highly recommend."
