"Great stay at this hotel… very friendly staff , not unisual for Italians and let alone Calabrese people … The breakfast is very nice and filling, continental with vienoiserie , juices, a variey of coffee brews… fruit , toast…. The owner is extremely helpful… it is a great place , very central, walkable to the corniche, beach and night life…the areas is very safe and quiet… air con works well,and I am definitely coming back for aonger stay in Regg Calabria. "This is a very unique property with a private beach. The beach is made of rock, not sand but still beautiful. The view is unmatched! I stayed in a sea view room, so I really enjoyed the balcony. Your neighbors are close, but our room was spacious and even included the dressing room. The pool chairs and scenic views are stunning. I would like to highlight the very helpful pool staff. They were wonderful, friendly, and set us up with a boat tour. Every day they were pleasant to be around. The same goes for the breakfast staff. The breakfast staff were polite, attentive, and helpful. I am America so I am used to luxury in hotels. My only recommendation is that the UNA Hotel update the hotel room bathroom. I would definitely stay here again! It was a pleasure!"

"Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso allo Splendid Hotel Taormina. La posizione è eccellente, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro storico, ma allo stesso tempo tranquilla e rilassante. La vista sul mare è semplicemente spettacolare e rende ogni momento ancora più speciale. Tutto il personale è stato eccezionale: sempre sorridente, professionale e disponibile ad aiutarci con qualsiasi richiesta. Ci siamo sentiti davvero i benvenuti. La piscina è bellissima e perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata trascorsa a visitare Taormina e i dintorni. Anche il ristorante merita un elogio: ottimo cibo, servizio attento e un’atmosfera molto piacevole. La nostra camera era confortevole e pulita. Per una famiglia di quattro persone era un po’ piccola, ma ci siamo organizzati senza problemi. Come piccolo suggerimento, sarebbe utile controllare le guarnizioni delle porte della doccia, che nella nostra camera tendevano a staccarsi. Nel complesso è stato un soggiorno fantastico e consigliamo questo hotel a chiunque desideri visitare Taormina. Grazie a tutto lo staff per la splendida ospitalità. Speriamo di tornare presto!"

"Hotel Villa Paradiso was a beautiful and charming hotel set right on the edge of Taormina. It was very accessible to the park and nature reserve. It was a 4 minute walk to Corso Umberto and only 10 minutes to the amphitheater. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very polite and helpful."

Delta Hotels by Marriott Giardini Naxos

"We had an excellent stay here at Delta Giardini Naxos. On arrival we were a bit underwhelmed by the room (we had booked a sea-view room with balcony for 6 nights with breakfast) and we had paid a lot of money. The room needs updating and redecorating (wallpaper peeling and torn in several obvious places) the balcony needs repainting - as does all the outside of the sea-facing side of the hotel. The en-suite bathroom has a bathtub with a very good shower, but has deep sides that may be difficult for someone with mobility issues to get in and out. Plenty liquid soap and body lotion, but no shower cap or other toiletries - we got them on asking. The bed was extremely comfortable and was huge- slept very well. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety and egg dishes made to order (omelette were delicious). Coffee available from machines or served to table by requesting strong coffee for two. Having breakfast on the veranda of the breakfast-room was a highlight- it's overlooking the pool and beach- but it's luck of the draw if you get a table there- but plenty of tables available inside. The pebble beach is well maintained and very diligent lifeguards on duty- towels and sunloungers provided by hotel. Pool area is beautiful but it's first up first served as regards getting a lounger at the pool. Hotel needs to enforce some type of "no towels on empty seats" rule - as several pool loungers were empty for hours on end. The Spa area is beautiful. All staff were excellent."
