Me and my husband planned on staying here until we had such a terrible experience the first day first night. First the AC in the room did not reach the restroom therefore the restroom was extremely hot. Second the bed was extremely hard, maybe not a deal breaker for some but it’s was almost like laying on the floor. Third when we planned on going to sleep after ignoring and trying to just make the best out of all the issues, the head board of the bed was covered in ants which to our surprise we moved the bed and underneath was full of ants as well. Not to mention in order to contact the staff we had to text the girl on WhatsApp which was extremely inconvenient since she was already home which we did not know and we didn’t wanna inconvenience someone while they are at home. Another thing the place had a really dirty pool which in the pictures looked better than in person. They also advertised for a private beach experience but when we arrive we were told that we couldn’t swim since the beach was very rocky and waves were strong, which one fine but that was one of the reasons we stayed there since we wanted that experience. Overall it was very uncomfortable and inconvenient and me and my husband had to contact Expedia so get moved the first day we arrived because the experience was already so bad and dull.

Loved the quiet property and the staff was just so wonderful. Beautiful area and close enough to still go for meals or shopping with a short ride. Would definately stay again...and we plan to!

This is a beautiful property outside of Tangolunda. Transportation is needed if you want to explore the other areas of Huatulco. Taxi cabs are available. We rented a motorbike for the week and had many adventures. The room was large, clean and simple (king bed). There is a fridge and we brought our own alcohol in. We did have an issue with low shower water pressure but it was resolved right away. Our suite had a covered patio with jetted tub. It was lovely to sit and watch/listen to the ocean. Beautiful sunsets. The resort serves a nice breakfast (included) and food was available for purchase 12-4pm. The ceviche was very good. Dinners were in La Crucecita (20 min drive) or other areas outside the gated residential condos. Our host, Jordan, was excellent! He even cooked a special birthday dinner for my husband. This was our 25th anniversary trip too & the room was decorated. The staff was very friendly. Jordan and Amairani speak English so that was super helpful. Google Translate is a great App to help with communication, The resort is not your typical all inclusive. It was very quiet most days/nights (which we enjoyed). There are no elevators. There is a trail to another beach to the right and we snorkelled there safely. Huatulco is clean and friendly. We will go back, for sure! Gracias Villas Fa Sol! Hasta Luega! Stacey & Darren

The view is amazing, the villa was very calm, we could enjoy the tranquility. The staff is very friendly and quick to help whether giving tips on activities or to call for a taxi. The food is delicious and the cooks are very friendly. I would give the Villa a 10/10 if they invested more in maintenance. Our faucet and sink were corroded, the sink clogged daily. It’s the little details that need to be taken care of, but for the rest, we had a great time!

The property is beautiful! Our closets and shower were in disrepair and needed remodelling. They looked very dirty. The people that maintained the gardens and pool area were very good. I felt the management were not in touch with our needs- immature and language barrier were a concern. Coffee in the early morning should be available.

Absoltely beautiful setting with three walkable beach options. Management will make sure they do all they can to help you with any need/request. One of the most relaxing places to stay. Sit back enjoy the view, have a refreshing dink and watch the Iguanas go about their business!

Todo el personal en muy amable, Fernando y Fany son los mejores anfitriones. Todo lo que les pedíamos nos lo daban con mucho gusto. La comida riquísima! La instalaciones son un sueño! The property is simply beautiful. Stunning views, a charming beach, amazing landscaping, and a lovely, refreshing pool made the outdoor surroundings delightful. The rooms (we had a mountain view for a week and an ocean view for another week) were spacious and comfortable. Staff was attentive and the breakfasts on the outdoor terrace were delicious. The air-conditioning made sleeping easy. Villas Fa-Sol is off the beaten path which was just what we wanted. People who want more activity, shopping, and variation in dining might find it too isolated. But taxis are inexpensive and convenient for getting to the rest of the Hautulco which offers a broad range of touristy things to do. We mostly stayed right on the property and another beach a short walk away because we were sure that nothing else out there could possibly be an improvement.

The property is fantastic on the outside ... ie. pools, sundecks, beach, views, everything. However the room ( junior suite) we were in needs a complete overhaul. Sink was cracked in numerous places, faucet/taps were dirty and ready to fall off, shower doors and fixture were old and need replacing, etc. Overall the stay was great, staff was great, sun was great, pools were great... but get back to the room and it was sub-standard.

We were upgraded to the corner Tortuga room and loved the 180 degree view of the ocean. There is a beach just below the property and a 3 min walk to another private beach good for swimming. The breakfast was good with several choices each day. The family and staff were very friendly and helpful.

This place is a unique little hideaway, very quiet and restful in a residential neighborhood. We wanted tranquility and we got it, the staff were very assistive to our needs, food was good but no dinner. We were accommodated very well with the room, clean and comfortable. Best to know a little Spanish which I was more than rusty at, but had fun. Would go back for sure, not a party place with madness going on.

Villas Fa-sol is a short drive out of town and so, offers serenity and quick access to their beautiful coastline and beaches. The architecture is something to be seen and appreciated.

Great spot away from the crowds. The place is family-run and they look after you well. English is marginal, the restaurant closes at 5 so you have to cab it somewhere to eat later than that. A bit dated and some things are in need of repair, but hey, it's Mexico. We loved our time there and will be back.

Little paradise
Beautiful! Very few hotels preserve and respect the natural setting so well as this one, it is unique. The breakfast is also very good and all the staff was kind and helpful. We would love to come back!

The grounds of the hotel are a peaceful paradise - plenty of deck-chairs and sun-loungers by (and in) the pool and on the beach, with so few rooms that it almost felt like a private stay for just us. The staff are lovely and the food is delicious, particularly the breakfasts, which were filling and provided great variety. Would recommend bringing snacks for the evening when the kitchen is closed so that you can literally not leave the property during your stay.

Wonderful view of the water, great breakfast choices, excellent service. Geraldo, Jordan and Julio were most helpful in arranging tours, taxis, etc. Highly recommended.

This hotel has an excellent view. The staff is very friendly but their english is lacking. They need someone that can stay around the reception area more often. They need to have food and bar service until at least 7pm. We stayed on the 1st floor and it is 77 steps down to the beach area. The steps are very steep with no hand rail. Overall we enjoyed the stay. The Mexican people are very friendly and the cab drivers did not try to charge more than the normal fare. Great area for photography.

A Real Gem
I was lucky to find this family owned property. Every person working there (much of them family) were very friendly and super helpful. My room was bright, spotless and had a great view. The food at the little restaurant was basic but fresh and tasty. The grounds were beautiful and the private beach was one of a kind. They let me stay on property after check out and the owners son Jordan drove me to the airport for basically the price of gas. I would go back and have already told friends about it.

Peaceful and relaxing
This is a family run hotel. The customer service is great. Jordan, the managers son, is an indispensable asset. He speaks English quite well and will cheerfully help you with whatever you need. The room itself (junior suite) was clean and had a great view. There is very little shade to keep light out in the morning, so if you're light sensitive you better get up early. The small private beach was gorgeous and so nice to enjoy, though the pounding surf and rocks doesn't really allow for swimming. The included home cooked breakfast was delicious! Overall a great place to unwind and use as a launchpad for exploring Bahia Huatulco.

Stop thinking about it! Just book it. Its an awesome place, far enough to be in contact with nature but close to the city (10-15 min car ride). Staff is amazing and everything is perfect.

Lovely small, family run facility. Beautiful site.
Spent a week. Two couples. Each had the (lower end) rooms, facing the back. We loved the Villas Fa-Sol. The beach attached to the hotel is small and not really swimmable, but there is a lovely quiet beach down a path next door. Breakfast is fruit, yogourt and granola, eggs or french toast, juice and coffee. The rooms were a bit dated, but very clean. Beds were hard, but some folks like that. The pool area is very nice, lots of lounge chair under coconut palms. The staff are all lovely, helpful and solicitous. The owner, Guillermo, took us out on his beautiful boat for a ride up the coast. A dolphin led us for a bit, adding to the beauty of this day. A great spot, probably not so much for families with little kids as there is not a lot for them to do. The place was quiet and very relaxing. The opposite of most all-inclusives we have experienced. Wish we were back there now.

Secluded get away. Pretty property
Gorgeous and relaxing. Not close to town. Address provided is for the back of the hotel, so some confusion when we arrived. We arrived late due to flight delays. Service was above and beyond. Re-opened the restaurant for us. Perfect mescal margaritas. Would stay here again.
