This was what we needed. A clean bed at night after a day of exploring all the great local beaches and restaurants. The staff was accommodating and the hotel cats made the place feel homey.

Price was right, room was comfortable, nice pool and loungers. Need new towels. The music around the pool was a bit noisy. Pool rules were not followed and exceeded quiet time hours.

The staff were great! We have stayed at this hotel before and it was clean. This time we would not even use the towels as they were so dirty and threadbare. Our air conditioner quit three times however the staff were quick to fix. The last night there a drunk someone who broke down the door across from us as he was locked out and fighting with another person inside. Called the desk several times with no answer. The situation could have been far worse. Will not stay there again ever!!

This property has wonderful and helpful staff, that respond as best they can to your needs. The positives were kind staff and great location in Santa Cruz. Rooms are in need of upgrades and repair. I changed rooms due to dripping a/c. My biggest concern was the last 5 days I did not feel it was safe to use the pool due to its murky waters and floating/sinking unknown materials. I was told each day it would be cleaned, then told it was clean but they were missing a chemical. That was unacceptable to me. I would not return to this hotel, or recommend it.

Older/smaller beach hotel in a good location (Santa Cruz.) Perfect if your hotel needs are minimal and you will be spending most of you time exploring the Huatulco area and dining outside of the hotel.
