Residencial Marés
8/10 Good
"Lovely spacious room great river view , excellent location and good breakfast we will be back"
AP Maria Nova Lounge - Adults Friendly
8/10 Good
"The Hotel is ok. Our shower was the best part of our room. To be honest, the hotel is great for one major reason … The location and convenience to Tabitha’s downtown town life without being too close. Plus the bakery around the corner was the perfect start to our afternoon walks. We won’t stay there again … it’s a one time kind of stay. If it wasn’t for the all you can eat breakfast buffet it would be a total waste … just get there first thing before it gets congested with hungry, rude patrons. Luis and his team showed consistent, high level customer service."
Vila Gale Albacora Eco-Resort Hotel
8/10 Good
"The overall impression is very good. The location is interesting and has plenty to offer for adults and/or children (adult and children’s swimming pools, a children’s playground and a kids’ club with entertainers and its own programme, a spa with a jacuzzi and a massage room, a bar open until 1 am, evening dancing, and a large area for walks) + the pink salt lakes nearby and a private shuttle to Tavira Island. Apart from the fact that the décor is rather dated and the room lacks the amenities you’d expect from a 4* hotel (no kettle, coffee machine or toiletries such as cotton buds or mosquito nets, and the air conditioning is about 25 years old), we were very pleased with our stay. I’d like to highlight the wide variety of food on offer for both breakfast and dinner – it’s very tasty and there’s something for everyone. And, of course, we were delighted and grateful to receive an unexpected and lovely birthday gift – a small cake with a limited-edition bottle of chilled white wine. I’d recommend staying for more than just one night."

"The hotel runs short on hot water for showers in the mornings and afternoons but otherwise it was very nice."
