"Great place. Friendly and professional staff. Restaurant excellent, no need to go anywhere else. Rooms clean and bed comfortable. This should be 5 stars,"
"The historic bungalow that was our room was very charming, and surprisingly spacious! However, there was a lack of attention to detail. For example, while our room did technically have a fireplace, it was wood-burning and there was no firewood. When I inquired about firewood at the front desk they said they were not currently providing it due to fire risk, which would have been good to know in advance. It was in the low 40’s at night, and one of our decisions for booking was the fireplace. Similarly, there was a coffee maker and coffee in the room but no cream or sugar. The location of the coffee maker itself was odd because the cord was too short to plug in. There were not enough outlets in general for the gadgets we carry around and I was constantly unplugging and moving things around to plug in other things. A minor issue, but something they could easily remedy.
On the positive side, the breakfast was great, the parking was very convenient and included, the staff was friendly and the location was very walkable. Overall, a nice place but not exactly as advertised. "
"Breakfast was wonderful! We had great bagels, oatmeal, biscuits/gravy and fresh fruit. Parking was right in front of our room. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved the strong water pressure in the shower! Very nice walk to town square and rail yard/farmers market is very close, too. There was live music in The Social bar/restaurant on site the evening we were there. "
"Amazing staff! We stayed 7 nights, and we traveled with someone in a wheelchair. The staff/property made sure that we had a room that was accommodating for our special need person. We loved that the property uses text messages for any things we needed for our room or our stay. They responded quickly it made it so much easier to enjoy our trip. The only thing we didnt like was that the room was a bit outdated and the carpet had an odor. But even with that the bed was comfortable and the sheets were always clean. We would definitely stay here again. All we can say is THANK YOU to the entire staff for making out stay easy and fun. Sincerely, Monk family."
