The owner and staff were incredibly gracious and helpful! They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and accommodate us with a last minute schedule change. The house is quaint and lovely and very serene. The location has terrific access to beach.

We booked a Suite with a magnificant view of the ocean from one side and the pool and parc area to the other side. The hotel was very quite, with a very friendly owner. Our bathroom had a big bathtub with a wonderful view outside. If you are looking for a quite place with a very traditionel charme, this is the place to be!

The property is a nice old building in a very quiet environment. Its a classic big old house(finca?) and the people are very kind and helpfull. In 5 minutes (walk) you are on the beach and 10 minutes in the village (bike). We spend a lot of time on the beach at the nearby club. The pool of the house is fine, but some things need a little bit more maintenance, also in and around the house. Breakfast is ok, some bread, coffee/tea, milk, jus d orange, baked eggs, cheese, ham, fuet, jam.. personal very helpfull!

The issue this property has is that it advertises itself as a luxury accommodation and it is a simple, barebones guest house and no frills experience. The bedding was simple, the furniture was old and stained. Outdoor furniture broken. The air conditioner filter was clogged and didn’t work efficiently and the remote control batteries died. Tv was starting to fall off the wall. The prep people working there were nice but overstretched. That said, the beach and views are nice. If we weren’t expecting luxury accommodations, if the price were a bit less and we knew that it was a more simple we would have had more realistic expectations and not have been dissatisfied.

Great gem close to the sea

It was our second time staying at Mas del Mar and again it did not disappoint. Great service and comfortable rooms. If anything, cleanliness could be a little bit better.

The property is charming and rustic and the grounds are beautiful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. It would be nice if the room had either a ceiling fan or A/C and ideally a small fridge. There is a large fridge that is shared with other guests, but a small fridge for the rooms would be better.

Would Not Stay Again

The pictures make this place look great. However, the living room isn't really for use and the furniture is ripped and dirty. Outside of your room, the rest of the house is no very available and is in need of much repair. The pool was nasty - murky water and frogs swimming in it. No lights in or around the pool at night either. The thing that was cool about this lodging was the accessibility to the beach.

la déception

hôtel très décevant. Sans possibilité d'avoir de l'eau fraîche(mas situé au milieu des marais catalans, 39 degrés fin juin), aucune restauration, aucun point café. Chambres face au soleil ( 40 degrés), sans moustiquaire ( au milieu des marais!) avec ventilateur à faire tourner toute la nuit , aucun sens écologique. Piscine pas propre, avec des tuyaux qui traînent, très décevant.

Varning saknar aircon och erbjuder endast frukost.

Känner att jag behöver varna andra för detta hotell som ligger väldigt bra nära stranden men saknar i övrigt det mesta. Vi kom dit hungriga efter en längre bilresa och termometern i bilen visade 43 grader C. Hotellet känns som en gammal fin vingård (numera äpplen runt om) och dom har en egen pool. Tyvärr saknar hotellet: Servering eller bar, dom erbjuder endast frukost. Inte blev det bättre att vår mini-svit saknade aircondition. Dessutom gav vårt kylskåp ingen kyla. Det blev fler promenader till campingen 1000 meter bort som säker är ett bättre val om ni önskar bo nära denna strand.

Entorno espectacular.Falta cuidado en los detalles

El lugar, espectacular. La única persona que lo gestiona muy amable y predispuesto a que todo esté a tu agrado. La Masía es enorme por lo que es imposible que una sola persona pueda hacer que que la atención sea la esperada y las condiciones de limpieza y mantenimiento sean las óptimas en un lugar como este. Deberían cuidar mas los detalles.

Hôtel très bien situé dans un parc naturel à quelques pas de la mer. La vue depuis la terrasse des chambres est superbe. Certains équipements de l'hotel sont un peu vieillots mais il est propre. La literie est à changer on sent les ressorts des matelas (dommage pour un hotel) et il manquait une porte à la cabine de douche. Le petit déjeuner est complet (aussi bien en sucré qu'en salé) et le personnel est très agréable.
