"Everything was amazing! It was peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. We didn’t get to use the spa unfortunately, but in the future we will stay here when we’re in Firenze. Location is convenient, with a park across the street. It didn’t take long to walk to the place from the train station. Alice was hospitable and took great care of us when it was time to check out! There is free coffee, a Lavazza modo mio machinetta which makes some good quick espresso to start your day right. My girlfriend believes the floors could’ve been cleaner in the room, however, the overall cleanliness of the room was top class. Don’t take this the wrong way as the room was very organized and well taken care of. The ability to leave your bags until 3pm the day of checkout is a great bonus. We will definitely be staying again, when we decide to come back to Firenze!"

"This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at anywhere in the world. The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and every need was met by the team. We were delighted with the special touches like welcome drinks and fruit in the room. The room was very comfortable, with generous space, comfortable furnishings and lovely peaceful setting. We were very impressed with housekeeping who would leave little gifts on a daily basis, as well as lovely products for us to use. The cocktails in the bar were the best we had in Florence, and very charming in their story and creation. I recommend the house Martini. The bar is a really cosy space to relax and unwind after a long day sightseeing. A perfect little hotel for a touch of luxury with the warmth of a family run establishment. Highly recommend!"

"WOW! What an experience to stay in this property. I could imagine living in this period as I made my way to and from the room every day. The folks helping with check in and out were very friendly and responsive. The room was clean and had plenty of comforts when needed. Great location with a minuet walk to everything. My only want was for a room facing away from the main street outside the window. A bit noisy but manageable with earplugs. "

"I can not say enough good things about this hotel and our 16-day stay! Giuseppe and the other front desk staff went out of their way to help, provide recommendation and help when my husband got sick. Thank you so much! Many folks have commented about the stairs. But the climb (there are 67 to be exact) may leave you breathless, but is to be expected given the age of the building and we opted for the stairs to be SO centrally located. We walked EVERYWHERE during our stay and found it easy to navigate. It's about a 20-minute way to the train station and so easy to get to ALL the museums and the view of the Duomo (from our room as well as the rooftop terrace) make the climb SO worthwhile. We found the shower to be small, but also discovered that this is often the case in Italy and it was workable. I appreciated the bidet and the heated towel rack and the ability to open both the bathroom and bedroom windows. The rooms are good sized, but a little dated. No big deal for us. We appreciated the coffee, juice and water machines as well as the morning cookies and being greeted with bubbly upon our arrival. Thanks Giuseppe and the whole crew for making our time so memorable.
