Lovely stay at Finnøy

Lovely hotel on the island of Finnøy. We had great weather, but I expect weather can be a bit harsh since it is basically next to the Atlantic Ocean. However the travel from Molde area with ferry ( check route times in advance) and island hopping in to Ålesund or opposite is well worth a trip. The restaurant offers a great 3 course dinner too. And they have a lovely cafe /bar area calles “butikken” except it isn’t a shop anymore. It is well worth trying out the pool. Just remember that a day card for pool only works for that day. We changed our mind and were gong to swim the next morning instead, so the lovely reception people had to change the card.

Det var helt ok, hadde mye høyere forventninger ut i fra hvordan stedet presenterer seg. Rommet var stort og fint, men man kan høre absolutt alt fra gangen og naborommet - selv om det er sommer var det veldig kaldt og når vi skrudde opp varme på rommet, skjedde det ingenting. Restaurant - kval på kjeks - var en vits, reke carpaccio med eple - var ikke noe særlig godt heller. Fiskesuppe aka Toro, oksekjaker var veldig gode, potetstappen ok. Dessert stå vi over, etter så mye dårlig mat og tok en kaffe. Hadde en veldig hyggelig gutt fra Polen som servitør. Frokost var en skuffelse, på søndag håpte jeg å få , litt ekstra, men det var lite utvalg, eggerøre var i hjel kokt, bacon helt svart. Lite utvalgt og dårlig kvalitet - vis. pølsene. Alt i et, ok å overnatte, men der stopper det.

Meget bra

Meget hyggelig mottakelse, og flotte rom. Utsikten over naturen rundt er spektakulær. Meget god kvalitet på middagen, også fint visuelt. Servitør var veldig hyggelig og tok godt vare på oss under hele måltidet. 50 meter fra hotellet fikk jeg se en oter dele mat med en havørn, fikk heldigvis filmet det.

Fasinerende at man kan reise så langt til havs uten å ta en eneste ferje! Ellers er ikke omgivelsene rundt hotellet veldig spektakulære, men det er sånn det er.. Veldig hyggelig service og ellers et hyggelig sted innendørs. Kveita var overkokt, dere. Da blir den tørr.

Avslapning ute i havgapet.

Koselig plass, hyggelig betjening, fantastisk god mat, flott hotellrom, god seng og ligge i. Synes det var en overkommelig pris for 2 netter. Ett opphold er så absolutt anbefalt. Vi kommer med glede tilbake, fordi her følte jeg virkelig man kunne slappe av og koble helt ut.

Häftigt att bo på en lite ö ute i Atlanten. Oväntat att det finns bilväg hela vägen ut nu med tunnlarna. Bra rum och god frukost. Restaurangens var mycket bra och fin Bra och enkla vandringar ute på öarna.

Finnøya sommertur

Fint rom, gode vinduer for lufting. Godt og varmt bad/dusj. Deilig seng med ei himmelsk dyne!! Vi åt middag på kvelden, nydelig god fisk! Solnedgang og flott ute området å sitte nyte sol og avslapning på. Frokosten var veldig bra! Hit har vi lyst å klme fleire dager.

Vårt opphold i sommer

Veldig fornøyd med rommet og standarden på renhold, tv'en trenger å oppdateres da den sang på siste verset.... var bare halve bildet av skjermen og se.... fikk ikke ekstra dopapir på rommet som var veldig kjipt når det ble tomt midt på natten. Maten var god, ikke best men veldig bra, eneste store minuset var porsjonene som var veldig små. Selvom man tok en treretters middag måtte man kjøre innom butikken før det stengte for å ha noe ekstra da man ikke ble mett av middagen..... veldig domt mtp prisen var tilsvarende at man skulle ha fått rikelig med mat. Frokosten var ok, litt mangelfullt av utvalget mtp pålegg (hadde forventet røkt laks på et sjøhotell) ellers så var maten fersk og god.
