The owners were very welcoming and willing to share their passionate stories about the hotel! Breakfast was good - different on both mornings. Tasty and light food to set you up for the days! "For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle. The hotel is near the Central Market, Harbour Mall & the promenade plus local shops but don’t get...

"A little outdated but ultimately large rooms and spacious hotel. All day food options and good breakfast variety. The pool is a great feature with jungle behind. Staff helped with taxi’s and luggage storage. Only upgrade would be better sun loungers - many lacked pads and were broken / dirty. Wood rotten on the loungers. And a tv with some internet capability. "
