"Beautiful property close to San Gimignano historic center. Loved having option to have all meals here. Breakfast was way more expensive than other hotels so just had breakfast in town. But other meals were reasonably priced. If they would step up their game a bit (more pillows, seating in rooms, provide wine glasses and opener, cozy it up a bit with amenities), they could easily be a 4 star because the property itself is certainly 4 star."

The food is delicious, the rooms are well appointed and till we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the property and every interesting nook! "Compared with hotels in Asia, the amenities here are relatively basic, as slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are not provided. My only other observation is that the bathroom is not completely sealed off from the room, unlike what you typically find in hotels in Asia. As a result, sounds from the bathroom can be heard quite clearly in the room, which can be slightly uncomfortable. Also the position where the shower head located is not ideal. I wet the whole floor on my first shower!"

"Borgo San Luigi exceeded our expectations in every way. We stayed here for 2 days before our wedding at Borgo Stomennano, 15 mins away. We had a large group of nearly 30 people staying at San Luigi during our wedding events, and the consensus could not be clearer: what a stunning property. Yasmin, Ivan, Filippo and the entire staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to every request. They helped us get a car rental delivered, ensured a smooth experience for our guests, helping us deliver their welcome bags and coordinating a clothes ironing service before the wedding. The restaurant on site was also terrific and the wait staff, especially Alessandro, were so welcoming and warm. They all knew we were here to celebrate our wedding and did everything possible to take great care of us. The grounds are stunning and that pool is amazing. Such a great place to relax for hours. If you are looking for a beautiful, elegant but with a rustic charm stay in Tuscany, look no further than this property. The staff will treat you like family and you will be dreaming of your next trip here."

"Our stay was perfect. We were given an upgrade due to the fact that it was our honeymoon. The staff was very kind and they work hard at pampering all guests. Property and rooms are extremely clean.
