"This place looked like an old hotel that we probably bumped into this very year in a stepping-stone period towards its becoming a proper boutique hotel (perhaps I will go back next year to double check). As a matter of fact the reception was stunning but once you get in your room you have the feeling of having being trown in some kind of B&B that needs a lot of refurbishing asap. "We were travelling from north to south and needed a stop halfway. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was very clean and stylish. Nice breakfast and a very friendly and helpful host. We arrived with two very young kids and she arranged that we could have early dinner at a nearby restaurant (that we hadn't found with Google maps). Nearby roads are decent compared to what you'lll find elsewhere in southern italy"

"Fantastic view over the sea. Nice pool an spaceous room. The restaurant was closed, which we only discovered at arrival. Had to drive every night to town for dinner. The outside area needs maintenance and cleaning"

"Antonio and the entire staff are great. I had a very nice room and everything appeared to be new. Very clean and fully equipped. The view of the island of Cirella is spectacular, especially during sunset from the restaurant terrace. I sat there with my beer and just enjoyed the surroundings. My only suggestion is use softer pillows. I found them to be very hard. Loved the staff and breakfast and Calabrese hospitality. I would stay again!"
