What a beautiful part of Mexico! The hotel I stayed in was extremely clean with a wonderful restaurant on the main floor!
The owners and staff were extremely accommodating, considering I was there in the middle heat wave! The pool saved me!
But once again, most of all, I must comment that the owners of the hotel, and the staff were extremely accommodating!
Easy walk around place to markets, great restaurants, safe, great pool!
I had a pleasant stay overall. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. Its location is great—just a five-minute walk to the center, which made it very convenient. The food was also quite good, with a nice variety.
The only downside was the mattress, which I found uncomfortable and made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Aside from that, everything else was lovely, and I’d consider staying again if the bedding situation improved.
We got my parents a weekend getaway for their anniversary at Casa Loreto San Miguel de Allende. It was truly exceptional! From the moment they arrived, they had nothing but great things to say. The staff went above and beyond to make them feel very special, including a beautifully decorated room with a flower arrangement, a personalized card. Rose petal heart. Bottle of wine! The pet-friendly property, very kind staff, and even provided a pet bed. The view of the pool from the balcony and fireplace added to the romantic atmosphere, and the attentive service throughout their stay made it a perfect celebration! Thank you for making this special occasion unforgettable for them. They loved everything! So happy!
This hotel just opened with new owners in March of 2025. The owner, Rafael, has a degree in Hotel/Motel Management and is making the necessary changes to change it into a premium venue with large TVs and premium channels, new linen and mattresses, fresh paint with beautiful colors, delicious food from a talented chef, Ricardo, and an attentive staff. This cute little 5 to 7 room hotel is within easy walking distance from San Miguel’s beautiful picturesque city square filled with rooftop restaurants and bars, Spanish architecture, museums, gardens, and a whole host of things to do. Their prices aren’t bad either! Do yourself a favor and visit this little gem, even if it is to have a delicious breakfast, lunch, and in the near future dinner, the next time you are in San Miguel de Allende. The only reason I didn’t give them a five star rating because they are still making improvements to the property, and training their staff to give impeccable service.
The hotel was centrally located in the central, which made it easy for us to walk around the town. The staff was very accommodating and helped us in whatever we needed. My only concern was that we were unaware that we’d be on the third floor and so someone that’s disabled have difficult time walking up the stairs

nice hotel problem, bathroom very outdated and need it to be renovated also had an emergency need it to go back home a day earlier and they refused to refund the unused day .. very disappointing
They canceled some of our Expedia reservations
And they told us was just for some technical issues and that we are going to get a better deal which was a lie they charged the same amount and they didn’t refund a cancellation we had.
One night we were out and when we came back the gate was closed and they leave us out in the middle of the night
Service was horrible and the pictures misleading

Need updates
Hotel is beautiful but there’s too much noise. I stayed in room one, the step to go into the bathroom is extremely high. Very hard to get in and out the bathroom and the shower water drains extremely slow
Wonderful little boutique hotel. Staff as a whole were incredibly friendly. Free breakfast was lovely. Rooms were small, at least the one we had with a king size bed. Bed was very comfy. Everything we needed, but a little small. Part of the charm of the hotel is it seems very old, but that also may be one of its flaws. Shower had very little water pressure. Took a while to get warm, and never hot. Also, there was no bar, and the restaurant was only open till noon or so. Despite all of that, we loved our stay there and would stay there again. Just know it’s not high end fancy, but lovely, quaint and charming. And the staff are so sweet, they make it worth it. And the location is ideal. Thanks for a wonderful 3 nights. Hope to see you all again.
They canceled our reservations on Expedia and they said it was to get a better deal. Which was a lie since we got charged the same, also we booked 6 rooms and we had to cancel one out of them since we had a cancellation for our event. They said we were going to get charged for one night and refund the rest and that never happened. we were asking for awhile what is going on since we didn’t got the refund, their answer always was the same that they were working on it.
Overall the experience was horrible
One night we were out and when we returned the gate was closed and we had to expend a couple hours outside on the street in the middle of the night since no one opened the door. It was a really scary moment that gave us an extremely bad experience.
