"We had a wonderful stay. The room was basic but nice: clean, hot shower, decent beds, good wifi. The hotel amenities were great, with excellent common areas such as kitchenette with fridge, jacuzzi, outdoor lounge areas, recreation and wellness areas. The proximity to the national park cannot be beat as the hotel is just steps from the entrance. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful."

"Worse than the pictures. Cant understand why they have a hugh rating. Room is cold due to breeze from door and windows. Door does not fit as it deformed from sun exposure. There is no hot water in the bathroom. I am nog typically picky but this place is ons on the worst places i ever stayed in. "

"This hotel was great for our stay in Monteverde. It was a bit removed from the middle of town but close enough. Our tours were only 10-20 mins drive away. Staff were incredibly helpful and even improvised breakfast for a day we had a very early start. "

But what made our stay 5 star was the kind staff and owner who helped us with a small issue like we cant find our phone to a bigger issue related to our car. "What an adorable hotel!! We stayed at the treehouse and it was marvelous - windows all around, beautiful greenery outside, a wonderful hammock to sit and relax in. Keep in mind, the hotel is not a walking distance from center of town but if you have a car, the super short drive is well worth it. Cosy and sweet "

"I was thinking just a room with the breakfast included option for two people but it turned out they have a full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The host and her daughter were super friendly and willing to help us out. They recommended a good local restaurants and our stay was very comfortable. It’s a nice location too. Close to the downtown but still very quiet. "

The staff was amazing and attentive (especially Hamid and Kevin), the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible, the bedding was great, and the grounds made you feel like you were on a retreat. We loved the intimate feel and getting to know the staff. We were sad to leave but look forward to the opportunity to return!"
