"For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us."

"Love the lodge feel and extremely kind and helpful staff. Our family stayed for three nights. Since driving the last mile was a little challenging, we opted to have dinners every night at the Lodge. Great service and wonderful food, but a bit on the pricier side compared to eating in town. We did the ATM excursion through the lodge. Xuanantunich was so close, we opted to drive via our rental and hired a private guide for $50 on-site. We did tubing on-site which was a flat 30-minute walk about...

"I stayed in a King Deluxe room at thought it was great value. The staff were all excellent, the hotel restaurant was great and the pool was large. Plus, the location was ideal (close enough to walk to the market / downtown but removed enough to be quiet) and there's a large grocery store directly across the street if you want snacks / sunscreen etc. I would certainly stay at Midas Belize again."

"We enjoyed our time here! Our family of five stayed comfortably in the “one room family suite” which had a mini fridge and a microwave. The grounds have beautiful landscaping and the pool is very nice. This was a great spot for a home base while exploring all the ruins. "
