"we stayed here during our first night and then our last night while traveling throughout Costa Rica. the hotel is close to the airport, although you would never know it. feels like you are far in the jungle. the rooms are large and beautifully decorated with terraces . the property and landscaping is amazing, especially the sunset pool. "This was our second time staying here and we love this place! Staff is very helpful, and made the effort to communicate with us, using our very limited Spanish. Trees and flowers are beautiful here. Many choices on Free Breakfast menu, and food is very good. We love staying in this place and know that the staff takes great pride in keeping the natural beauty of Costa Rica, and providing excellent service."

"They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans.
