Great location inside the city walls. Historic building with a beautiful courtyard. Room was large, warm, and comfortable in Dec. Host was fantastic and helped us with parking recommendations for our trips to Sienna and Florence. Highly recommend.

One of my more favorite hotels in Italy. Roomy, clean, everything worked. Really quiet too. Definitely one of those Tuscany experiences you see in the movies.

This property is a very historic family run palazzo. We enjoyed meeting the owner of the property and spending time in this historic palace. We appreciated the opportunity to enjoy common spaces other than just our room. We wish we had opted to have breakfast in the morning. The breakfast provided looked and smelled fantastic. We would highly recommend this property. The owner made us feel at home in her home.

Lovely historic building right in the walls of the old town. A really special place. The fridge in the room was a special touch. We are walking the via Francigena. I wish we had more time to explore the town.

We loved the historic palazzo, the convenience of being able to walk everywhere in the old city and even to a winery, and the staff were wonderfully helpful in every way and also with making dinner reservations for us!

Very clean and spacious rooms rught in the heart of San Gimignano. Owner was very welcoming and helped guide us to free parking areas, good restaurants and gave us tips on other places to visit. Not too many tourists in March so recommend it as a good time to visit.

A lovely place, a lot of ambiance and excellent service especially when it comes to helping out with arrangements of different kinds; taxi, excursions, good restaurants etc. Perfect location in this gorgeous town. Only minus; very hard mattresses and pillows.

Wonderful staff! They helped, saved us when the gps failed. They went out of their way to make sure we had a nice evening. She walked some distance to our car and lead us. It was very kind! The room was absolutely beautiful. It was like stepping back in time to an Italian family treasure. Like a beautiful boutique, with a rich heritage. Peaceful, charming, with wonderful kind people. A little piece of heaven!

Our host was exceptional! Usually she was on the premise but if not was easy to contact with any questions. She came in early for our early check in! Had plenty of recommendations not only about San Gimignano but surrounding towns. She made us a reservation for New Year's Eve having to call several to get us a spot! The location was perfect as it was close to everything, especially the unloading area! Although a breakfast was not available we were able to get a discount at the recommended bar which was very close. We would say there again in a heartbeat! Thanks for a great stay.

Excellent location, nice place. It is an old building with original furniture. No air conditioning which might not be a problem most part of the year, we were there in August so it was very hot. However we didn’t stay in the room much time. Beds might need to be updated. Staff was super friendly and very helpful.

Book here while in Tuscany

Residenza d'Epoca Palazzo Buonaccorsi is in an amazing location near the center of town. Quick walks to panoramic locations, restaurants and shops. Our hostess, Marzia, allowed us to store our bags while we waited for check in time to approach. She provided us with a map and many recommendations for dining upon check in and pointed out locations to take pictures. The hotel has a hidden patio to enjoy some wine and just relax in the evenings. The best part of our stay was the breakfast. Marzia and her crew delighted us with an amazing breakfast spread of various fresh cheeses, bread, fruit and cereal. As well as many Italian coffee options.
