Everything was outstanding. The view from our balcony and the restaurant was amazing. Do not try to park at the hotel. Park at the public parking just outside the main city gate.

Beautiful hotel. Get a room with a view of the countryside, it’s an incredible view in the morning. The reception staff are really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is very nice.

50th anniversary trip

The hotel was good. The beds were comfortable. Location location was excellent right in the downtown. Steps away from restaurants and stores. The only thing that I was disappointed at is that we mentioned before we got here and well we were here that we were celebrating our 50th anniversary and nothing special was said or done. I would recommend this hotel.

This is a gorgeous property in the midst of medieval San Gimignano. You accommodations were beautiful, decent adequate size bathroom, and a breathtaking view for your morning breakfast! The staff was friendly and attentive. My only drawback from giving it a five was the bed was not very comfortable, but sheets, towels, etc. were.

Excellent location

The hotel was small and with lots of character. We were there for 4 nights Location was excellent right in the middle of town. The breakfast was goid with plenty of choices. Unfortunately our room was looking at roofs. Not a very pleasant view. If your booking ask for a better view. It is a hotel that I would come back to

Beautiful San Gimignano hotel!

A gorgeous, beautifully done property in the heart of San Gimignano. Perfect location, and overlooking the hills of Tuscany. I couldn't recommend it more highly, the staff was phenomenal, and upgrading to a terrace room is well worth it. Be aware you have to stop at the bottom of town outside the restricted area, and make a short walk to check in, then go park in the public spaces (P2 is closest). Or park and then walk up.

Unbelievable experience and stay. We stayed in Room 16 overlooking the city center. It was perfect to people watch. I had read previous reviews on the breakfast being disappointing. Nothing further from the truth. Everything is homemade and if you want eggs and bacon they cook it to order. Not to mention the view. Highly recommended staying. Only downside is the parking but not there fault.

The rooms with a balcony are a combination of private and shared balconies. Be aware that the majority of photos shown are of the private balcony rooms, which have more windows/french doors to the patio - allowing you to enjoy the view from inside the room. The shared balcony rooms have only one single glass door that lets you see the view, but it is in the ‘closet/dressing area’. You’re not able to see the view from the main part of the room. The patio is great, but just be aware from the room you can’t take in the view (which would be the reason for booking). We’ve stayed in both rooms - the private balcony is worth the price. If we knew we had one of the other rooms, we’d book at other spots in town for the price. Hopefully on Expedia they’ll pull the two types of rooms apart and adjust the rates accordingly.
