I have stayed at the Adelaide hostel for 5 nights in a shared 4 beds room.
The facilities are not the newest and could use some renovation, but overall clean.
Very basic accomodation as one would expect from a hostel.
The type of living was quite like going back to staying at a dormitory, not in a good way.
Some may argue that it's like that in any hostel, but my past experience staying in other hostels in different US cities , like in New York, was quite better, so I have something to compare it with.
The offered "breakfast" is basically a do-it-yourself bagels with different spreads, cereals, fruit and uncooked eggs.
You can use the kitchen to cook yourself, but the kitchen can get quite crowded in the peak hours (mornings and evenings).
Wifi was overall ok, although did get disconnected at times.
The biggest con for me was the high noise level by some tenants being in the alley outside the building very late at night that I could hear from my room. Although not directly management's fault, I think they should pay more attention to that and give some warnings.
Overall, a budget option in a very good central location close to everything that I would recommend to those who are travelling solo or maybe with a friend, who are ok with the basic stuff and will use it mainly for sleeping purposes.
