"We had an amazing stay at Desert Flower Hotel! We stayed in Room 7, which included a private hot tub that was perfect for soaking in and relaxing after our adventurous days exploring Taos. "Used to be one of my favorite hotels anywhere, the Sagebrush was such a disappointment, i won’t be back, the place has fallen into a bad state of disrepair, from rotting, titling boards which caused a fall on the staircase, sheets with bloodstains, (laundered, it looked like stains that just don’t come out). The menu is greatly reduced and the food was terrible. Again, I’m not just an old nag, and for $200+ night i guess I expect clean sheets, some semblance of safety on staircases and walkways....

We were in the back of the building and there was a large party in the parking lot. It appeared to be a family reunion or something like that, that was part of the hotel owners family. Lots of people but they were respectful. And they quieted down after 10 pm. We did have to ask for hand towels and wash cloths. "What a delightful getaway! Park like forested grounds, amazing saltwater pool and hot tub, full service on site spa and a comfortable library with fireplace, pool table and games available. They seemed to be understaffed during our stay, but we still enjoyed it immensely."
