"This was a one-night stay on a Tuesday, in town for a concert at the Rady Shell. The hotel is immaculate and the decor is fantastic. I loved the look and vibe, and so did my bf. This is an old, historic building but there is nothing that is "run down" or shabby. The linens and the toiletries in the room were top notch. Every single staff member was SO FRIENDLY and welcoming. "Very nice property with good food on site. Amenities are great & the spa was wonderful as well. The resort offers a shuttle that runs all day & drops off and picks up right in front of the hotel Coronado, which puts you right in the center of shopping and restaurants. Pool staff is friendly, and the bar/poolside bites are good. No complaints, will stay on the property again. "
"The woman at the front desk was exceptionally happy and responsive. As soon as I walked in the front door and spoke to her, I knew I would love this place. We only stayed one night, but it was very clean and cozy. I would highly recommend it."

"Extremely clean hotel despite it being old. There was visible wear and tear (crack in sink, tear in wallpaper) but I needed a cheap place to sleep not luxury comfort. I was VERY impressed with the check in process and the staff accessibility. I called a couple times and someone always answered from the hotel not an 800 phone number. Parking was free and there was plenty of parking and I felt safe as I came late each night. I left my favorite hat in the hotel room and when I called, they said if...
"I reserved a room with 2 beds for my sister and I for a one night stay at Sophia hotel. When we arrived at 4PM our room was not ready and Ian gave me two waters and two chocolate candy bars and offered two rooms with one bed in place of the one room with two beds on the newly renovated floor right next to each other at no extra charge. It worked out perfectly as we had our own space. "
