"Beautiful hotel, for me personally I wish I had read more fine print since I was looking forward to being able to use beach chairs and didn't feel like it was the best hotel for young kids, but as a fancy hotel and wedding hotel it is a beautiful location. Ashley at the front desk was very sweet."

"I was so disappointed that I was not able to utilize the pool area due to a large private event being held the weekend of my stay 4/08/26. I purposely chose the hotel for the swimming pool and had I known I would not been able to use, I would have gone with a different hotel. The staff were rude as well especially the front hosts. I don’t think it was worth over $300 a night. Also, the walls on the 1st floor are very thin, I could her complete conversations being held in the hallway and in the room next to my room."

"The staff is great. They always take care of us. There was no noticeable dirt but I found a roach on the morning we were checking out. I know New Orleans has an unsolvable roach problem. Perhaps it’s just a southern fact of life. There are no amenities. No pool. No free breakfast. Hotel breakfasts suck and it is within a trivial walking distance of the beach. IHOP and McD’s are within a mile and both offer good breakfasts. We parked at our first floor door. There are probably a couple of end units with a view of the oceans but the hotel is perpendicular to the beach. All rooms face the parking lot. There is an elevator. The towels are thin as one would expect. I got dry. If you are looking for luxury you wouldn’t be looking at Red Roof Inn. It was an acceptable hotel at a cheap price a few yards off Seawall Blvd. That was what I wanted and what I got. No complaints. The surprising thing is the quality of the service. Everyone there exceeds every expectation of what a budget hotel should provide. This was our second stay and I will continual I win the lottery."
