"This is a very quiet, under-the-radar resort located in a peaceful part of Bali. It’s definitely not the place if you’re looking for noise or a lively atmosphere, but if you want genuine relaxation and tranquility, this is a great choice. Special thanks to Chris and his team who made an extra effort to ensure our stay was comfortable. They went above and beyond to meet our needs. The resort has a huge swimming pool which was a highlight for us. There is a restaurant on-site, though dining options within the hotel are limited. That said, there are a few good local restaurants nearby so you still have some nice choices. One downside is that parts of the property feel a little dated but considering the age of the hotel, it’s not too bad. It would also be nice to see more activities especially for kids to make it more family-friendly."

"Everything was brilliant. The people were warm and very friendly, professional and personable. Absolutely amazing service in every aspect - reception, rooms staff, restaurant and bar team, gardeners and security - truly wonderful. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The room was excellent. Our private pool was a dream of peacefulness. Breakfast was particularly good. A wide choice presented really well, and of course it tasted good. Afternoon tea was also a highlight - nice cakes and savouries which I didn’t need but welcomed eagerly every day. Moonstone Beach Club was also a really lovely and relaxed experience. Dinner at both standing stones and mood stone was excellent. Generous portions and tasting great. I will be back to The Royal Purnama. Thanks you to all the team there. "

"The room with private pool was lovely. The staff were friendly and attentive. The location was good for restaurants and local amenities. We hired a scooter and rode around the island. "

"We stayed in villa 2, fantastic position near the restaurant and pool, the accommodation was lovely, the staff were wonderful and the breakfasts were amazing. The resort is built on a hill however a golf cart is always available to take you to the top part. We found it easier leaving and entering to use the bottom entrance. Would highly recommend "

"The rooms were clean and large. Even though it is somewhat worn and dated, everything worked. We had one issue with the A/C remote that was fixed immediately. The staff were all warm and friendly. We arrived late and the restaurant just closed but Kaden and her colleagues scrambled around to get us snacks and a beverage. We had all our meals in the onsite restaurant and they were all good. Breakfast buffet was good value. My wife and I had a spa treatment for two. My wife said it was the best massage she’s ever had. "
