"This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Room was suppose to include breakfast, we when got there we found out we had to walk across a very busy road to get to where breakfast was served and the breakfast consisted of instant coffee or tea, instant noodles, or a piece of bread. No wifi in room. No restaurant even though it said there was. When we asked for extra pillows as we were only given two very flat ones we were told it would cost extra. "I loved staying at the Mahalaya Hotel in Solo. The staff are all so friendly yet professional, the rooms spacious and quiet, the breakfast delicious and the location super convenient. The pool is an added bonus. Many other reviewers noted the swimming lessons that are conducted in the pool and how these seem to take over the area when they're on. During my stay, yes, there were classes on but not all the time, which meant that there were also times I was able to enjoy the pool all to myself. Running these classes is clearly a business model that is working for the hotel but it's also important to remember that learning how to swim is a vital skill for children to have. I applaud the hotel for giving children this opportunity. Looking forward to staying here on my next visit to Solo."
