The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The staff, especially the cleaning lady was incredibly nice (she also served breakfast most days). The property was nice and tucked away and I actually preferred the pool area over the beach! Breakfast was always very good too. Location couldn’t have been better with the 2 supermercados and mini Mercado, food/dessert options, souvenir shops and the beach, all within walking distance. Note: there were some insulation problems as well as ants and a couple lizards in the room. This can be mitigated by not leaving food out though. There is some exposed piping where bugs get in behind the toilet and sink. That being said, that is extremely common at 3/4 places we stayed while in Costa Rica and should be known for transparency, not because it was a huge problem.

A beautiful location, with lush landscaping and only a five minute walk to the beach. Many excellent restaurants very close by on Samara’s main street. We loved the variety of birds by the pool.

Staff was amazing...did everything they could to make stay enjoyable and comfortable. Only drawback is Hotel advertises on site bar. Hotel does have onsite bar but not in operation. It is only there to borrow a glass, opener, etc.

The location is great to walk to the beach, like 3 mins, the place is quiet, clean and lots of places where to eat all around. The only thing I would improve is the A/C, it does not cool as they should. I set up on 20c and really was like 24c, then set up on 18c and got to 22c, maybe needed a gas recharge to actually feel cool. Besides that place is good, staff are very friendly.

The property is located a 2 minute walk from the beach. Conveniently located to walk to restaurants and shops. None of the power outlets were working in our first room. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful and immediately accommodated us in the room next door. This is an older hotel with very basic necessities. Overall hotel grounds need maintenance. Especially the pool area. The grass was overgrown underneath the lounge chairs. Personally, it wasn’t for us. Booked a two night stay and ended up leaving after one night. Highly recommended eating at the Italian restaurant a few doors away from the hotel!

Comfortable, convenient, great service & breakfast. It is outdated yes, but it is clean. The proximity to the beach, shops, restaurants (Sherrif - good, cheap & great service) is perfect if you are not looking for quietness. It is located in the heart of Sámara (which is quite small of a town). Don’t blame them if it gets noisy at night. We are a couple on vacation that would recommend the hotel.

Dans l’ensemble cet hôtel a besoin de rénovation. Pas de pression dans la douche, la cafetière ne fonctionnait pas, et les équipements de la chambre sont désuètes . Au moins, L’air climatisée fonctionnait bien. Le jardin était agréable et la piscine. Petit déjeuner correct. Point fort: à 2 min de marche de la plage et restaurants. C’est la raison principale que nous avons réservé cet hôtel.

Boka inte detta hotell !

Dåligt! Väldigt tråkiga rum, ser inte ut som på bilderna. Det ska finnas wi-fi, men är katastrofalt dåligt. Gick i princip inte att använda. Ointresserad personal. Otroligt tråkig buffé frukost och sur personal. Ofräsch pool ( fåglar och ekorrar som bajsar) Avråder bestämt från att bo här.

Spenderade fyra nätter med familjen här. Ligger perfekt till för stranden och restaurangerna. Tyvärr något slitet och golvet var väldigt smutsigt. Städades inte en enda gång under vår vistelse. Personalen dålig på engelska så vi valde att inte utnyttja deras service. Ett plus var att man fick låna strand handdukar gratis.

Playa Samara

Hôtel bien situé à quelques mètres seulement de la plage. Personnel sympathique et disponible. Petit déjeuner très complet. Le meilleur jusqu'à présent. Si l'exterieur de l'établissement est très bien entretenu, il n'en est rien des chambres. Avons du changer de chambre le jour de notre arrivée car, à la tombée de la nuit, pas d'éclairage. Mobilier désuet. Ensemble vétuste.
