"Lovely location of the hotel which is on a small island surrounded by the Nile river. A ferry is available 24/7 every 30 minutes. The hotel has multiple swimming pools and numerous restaurants. We ate at the Italian restaurant, excellent service. The hotel room we occupied was large with 2 double beds. "

"Likes: very clean, lots of amenities including microwave, staff is very helpful. View is spectacular! Dislikes: mediocre food, small bathroom and excessive water spills from shower onto bathroom floor. Its a 4.5 for me."

"The room we stayed in wasn’t clean and the conditions weren’t great. The hotel staff also overcharged us for a few excursions. I’d recommend staying somewhere else if possible."

"We stayed just one night here but wish it was longer. Beautifully decorated room, with a wonderfully comfortable bed looking directly out onto the river Nile. We enjoyed sitting out and enjoying the view across the river and watched the sun rise the following morning. The staff could not have been more helpful and did everything they could to help us. The food was wonderful - we had tagine and it was up there with the best we’ve eaten. We really could not fault Dolty Kato Nubian House and would highly recommend it."

Staff couldn’t have been more polite or helpful and the taxis ordered for us were well-priced and considerate. Food was good, and alcoholic drinks plentiful. We had such a good few days here. They arranged all our transportation smoothly and made our stay completely stress-free. The traditional grilled dinner was excellent and felt very authentic. We highly recommend staying a couple of days to experience and explore the more traditional side of Nubian life."
