The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and welcoming during our stay. Sadly, they alone could not make up for where the property as a whole fell short.
The Room:
-The door latch lock had been repeatedly replaced poorly, bolt cracking at the base, indicating forced entry was attempted on this door.
-Door would not close properly unless slammed. Malfunctioning door closer, however, ensured the door slammed hard enough to engage the latch (and present a safety hazard).
- Suspicious faded white stains on the front/center portion of the chair cushion observed. Upholstery on this chair also worn and blackened from use/lack of cleaning.
- Bathtub pan creaked excessively at the slightest movement.
- Water pressure through shower head on any setting painfully excessive.
- Tub faucet leaking excessively.
- Toilet seat only secured with one bolt, causing it to pivot and slide.
- Electrical cables for appliances ran to power strip tacked to the outside of the counter side instead of to two two-gang outlets behind fridge.
The Pool:
-Two ceiling fans observed blackened with excessive dust, grime, and potentially mold.
-Ceiling drywall peeling off, rotted-looking.
-Coating on air ducts & fire riser pipes peeling, exposed metal rusting.
-Wall tiles peeling.
Exterior:
-Gate from parking lot to patio broken through to allow unlawful access to patio area.
-Door at patio area would not latch and lock, allowing unmonitored access.
