Arrived at hotel at 14.10 to find hotel closed and a note on door saying “closed until 17.00” we called a number left on the door and after pleading with the lady she returned 20 mins later. We checked in and were charged a few euros more than that stated on the booking. We were so tired after driving from the uk we just paid and went to the room. On a positive note the restaurant next door is excellent. There is also a very good wine shop one door along from the restaurant.

Disliked: Room comfort
OK for overnight enroute stop - in cool weather
An OK place to stay for an overnight en-route stop. Pretty basic room but acceptable. Dog-friendly (for 8 Euros). Insist on full payment on check in. No air conditioning or fan - which, given the 30C day temperature, made for a suffocatingly hot room overnight - couldn't open the external door/window as this would have opened the (ground floor) room to any intruder. In consequence, we had a very poor night's sleep. On the positives - easy parking and short drive into the city centre.
Pleasant hotel well situated for a overnight break when driving, near a main North South route. Room showed signs of age, but was comfortable. Breakfast typically French but plentiful and buffet well laid out.
