What an amazing place !

What an amazing place ! We absolutely loved our stay here. The owner is fantastic - welcoming us, taking care of us and making us feel almost like family. It is a home away from home and we highly recommend it.

The room was spacious, and the view of the river with a small lanai was fantastic. We did not utilize the kitchen; however, it was well appointed. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Certainly would recommend this hotel for a very pleasant stay.

Wonderful family 2-night stay in the top floor family suite (2 adults 2 children). 2 interconnected rooms each with own bathroom and seating area (couch and coffee table). Coffee and tea making facilities and fridge in each room. Glass of wine and beer on arrival by the pool, which was lovely. Pool towels provided, which was great (pool open all day and very clean). Easy free parking too. Delicious breakfast buffet with freshly baked croissants and lots of other delicious items etc and seating on the terrace overlooking the river. Would recommend for a family stay as host was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. Managed to choose the hottest two days (39 degrees) but fans provided in the rooms which made sleeping a lot easier. Thank you for a lovely time.

Oasis on the river

What an amazing location. It seems a little out of place in the surrounding area but it is like an oasis in the desert. Located actually on the river, the hotel is a converted mill house full of period charm and character. The rooms were comfortable, with a few quirks, but very spacious and some have beautiful views. The swimming pool was a boon in the very hot weather. The two young ladies looking after us were a delight - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good. It's a little out of town, with few places to eat in a mixed residential/commercial area, but being Aussies we made use of the bbq on site. All in all a lovely place to stay. Would we go there again? You bet!!

Bonjour Nous avions réservé fin Août pour une nuit . Voici à notre sens ce qui ne nous a pas convenu . Déception à l'arrivée. Si le Moulin a un certain style il n'en demeure pas moins que les lieux ne sont pas éblouissants en tout cas très en dessous des photos présentées. Accueil agréable mais " mou " et pas professionnel . Français très approximatif... On doit monter ses valises ...Ce jour là il faisait très chaud . La chaleur de la chambre était étouffante . Notre chat que l'on emmène partout ouvrait sa gueule pour respirer. 1ère fois en... 11 ans ... Un petit ventilateur dans un coin n'y a rien changé .Nous avons donc décidé de partir ... à peine arrivés. J'ai expliqué la situation à l'hôtesse ... en anglais ! Obligé...Le lendemain la propriétaire m'a contactée juste pour m'informer que je serai remboursée. C 'était "fair play" de sa part j'en conviens et la remercie. Mais ce que je voudrais souligner toutefois c 'est son ton peu aimable voire sec . Lorsque j'ai voulu lui expliqué la situation ce qui me paraissait normal elle n'a pas voulu . Lorsque je lui ai fait remarquer par ailleurs que tous les échanges s'écrivaient en anglais et que je le déplorais alors que nous étions en France voici quelle a été sa réponse . " C'est un lieu où viennent des étrangers d'où "... Sur le même ton peu aimable Bravo l'enclave anglaise ! Une petite claque aux français prend toi ça dans les dents ! Et étouffe bien dans ta chambre Remboursé certes ... mais pas envie de revenir !

Schönes historisches Gebäude in gepflegter Lage. Wir waren nur eine Nacht in einem sehr großen Familienapartment, aber das Hotel ist so schön, dass man auch länger dort bleiben kann. Wunderbar gepflegtes Anwesen mit Pool und Springbrunnen.

Ma meilleure adresse

Une sinon la meilleure des meilleures chambres d'hôtes que j'ai pu connaître. Tout est parfait, de la gentillesse du personnel, de la propreté parfaite, d'un magnifique décoration et d'une sublime vue sur la Vézère . Nous reviendrons lors d'un autre arrêt en Corrèze.

Chambre d'hôte charmante dans un joli domaine avec piscine. Accueil sympathique. Néanmoins l'absence de climatisation a été un gros point noir pour moi. Chaleur étouffante non dissipée par le ventilateur fourni.... Pas de possibilité de diner sur place.

Chambre avec vue incroyable sur la Vezere. Superbe accueil, la propriété est magnifique. Dans le renfoncement / penderie où il y a les peignoirs, c’était très poussiéreux avec beaucoup de toiles d’araignées sinon c’était parfait

Joli moulin au bord de la vezere

Très bel établissement au bord de la Vezere . Nous avions la suite avec vue sur la rivière ce qui était top. Merci à Christine pour sa gentillesse et son efficacité . Merci à Julie et Emma pour leur accueil . Les moins : le ménage est loin d être fait tous les jours contrairement à ce qui est noté sur la réservation et pour un séjour de 7 nuits avec 3 enfants et un chien ce n’est pas du luxe. Pas de rideaux dans les chambres pour occulter la lumière . Une piscine sans les normes de sécurité attention avec les enfants.

Vacances superbes.

Superbe séjour. Le moulin bleu est un lieu magnifique avec de l'authenticité. Nous avons eu un appartement immense et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. On vous conseille cet établissement. On a été très bien accueillie.

Lovely quiet riverside setting. Complementary glass of wine on terrace on arrival. Friendly English speaking host, who even bought a cake for one of our friends birthday. Nice touch! Good rooms.
