"The room was so small. The bathroom and the sink in the bathroom was so small. It was challenging to wash the hand and face. The people at the front desk (the lobby) were smoking in the building when I enter the build for the check in. There was no shower towel. The hand towels were also very old. "

"The property was lovely. Great location overlooking the Loire River. Audrey was wonderful when we checked in. She helped us get a dinner reservation for our first night and we were able to walk. Wish the restaurant had been open, but that can’t be helped. Breakfast was delicious on property. We felt like the wines in the bar were a little overpriced based on what we bought from the local vineyards. Lovely area to visit. Everyone we met were very friendly. "

"Hotel was holding a large separate function which initially meant we were denied a table in the restaurant - we were on a cycling tour, staying one night, so this was frustrating after a long day's ride. However, on reflection, we were granted a table. Food was superb, facilities were great, once the initial restaurant hurdle was over, we found the staff friendly and helpful."

"This is a very stylish hotel in every respect. A beautiful building has been sympathetically converted into a small luxury hotel. Our room was very comfortable and the extras such as towelling dressing gowns and lovely soaps shampoos moisturiser etc. Dinner was the bistro menu and we could not have asked for a more delicious small menu, beautifully prepared and presented. Breakfast was outstanding too, including homemade jams and the best scrambled eggs I can remember! Our dogs were made welcome...

"Nice clean and cheap hotel as advertised. Staff friendly and quick check in. Rooms are decent size although separate wash hand basin in room was a bit odd. Air con functional which was good as warm nights. The breakfast is good selection and no complaints.
