"The place looks very old, and not in a good way. Worn out carpets, odd smells, and not very quiet. Disappointing for $100+ per night."

"The location was good and the place was fine and spacious and creatively decorated. But we were in a suite and there were no linens for the couch bed. I had to ask 4x over several hours before they finally brought them. We also had a problem with a fire alarm beeping and had to ask 3x to get it dealt with. Even after they replaced the battery, it began beeping again so we removed the battery ourselves."

"Horrible breakfast experience. The two women serving during breakfast were not welcoming at all and displayed very rude behavior. The tables were not cleaned properly, which made the experience even more disappointing. On the other hand, the gentleman working there was excellent—he greeted guests warmly, explained everything clearly, and provided great service. I had previously returned to stay here because of my past experiences, but after this breakfast experience, I do not plan to come back. Customer service and hospitality make a big difference, and unfortunately, breakfast service fell far below expectations."

"I arrived at the property at 10:30 pm, the parking lot had police cars with lights on and talking to groups of people. I went inside the lobby to check in and was told that my reservation was canceled. I had a reservation for three nights. She said she was sorry and that they had cancelled a lot of reservations and they were all locked up. So I went back out to my car to find another hotel for three nights last minute. When I left there were County Law Enforcement in the parking lot. Thankfully I was able to book another hotel. But my card was charged, Expedia will not give me a refund as they tried to contact the hotel and are unable to get a response. I literally am writing this review on a booking that I was not allowed to check into. Received emails 10 minutes apart for reviews on two hotel bookings for the same dates. One I never stayed at and one I did. I have used Expedia for all of my travel needs. That ends today. I stayed at Mainstays last week and was satisfied to the point I was going to stay there 3 nights every week for the next 3 months. Nope. So sick of getting disregarded by faceless commerce. No accountability."

"The facility charges for everything. Including water and parking, even though there is plenty of parking space outside in their open parking lot. They do not provide complimentary water upon you checking in. The staff are demonstrating behavior like those running a night shift at a remote gas station. Their breakfast options are horrible."
