"The website says they have a pool, and they don't. That was unfortunate because that was one of the reasons we picked this hotel, and my kids were all very much disappointed!! When we asked the front desk, they said, unfortunately, they haven't updated the hotel in the last 10 years when the pool was removed. Otherwise very nice."

"The hotel is in a convenient location. You are walking distance from the Galleria mall and a lot of restaurants. The area is pretty much safe to be in. However, the hotel is not one I would stay at again."

"Room was reasonably clean and intact. Location was good (for access to Forest Park, the Hill, and the Botanical Gardens). Looks like a formerly decent big hotel that must have lost its big-name franchise. Carpets in common areas appear to have been cleaned, but stretched/damaged in the process. Room had no Kleenex... and front desk couldn't provide any. Sink in bathroom was cracked and crudely patched, but functional. Toilet flushed, but very slowly...with the outcome always in doubt. ...

"When I walked into the property, the young lady was lent over-the-counter. Can I help you with an attitude then she said I don’t know how you were able to even book we overbooked. We tried to call you, but we didn’t have a number on file. I had a real nasty attitude and told me to go to another hotel. "

"It was dirty. My door didn't shut right. The bed was stained. The door beside us was not even on the hinges. "

"All was good but we were disappointed that breakfast was not included. Coffee for a fee was not very good. Staff was helpful, bed was comfortable. "

"Holes in the wall peeling paint. Permanent Merle scribbles all over the mirror. Tv doesn’t work. Asked for late check out at noon and staff was pouring on my door threatening to come in at 11. Furniture falling apart. Property smelled of cigars and smoke. Disgusting and filthy. Chunks of food on the floor in my “clean” room. Don’t stay here."

"My expedia says check in at 3:00. Hotel says 4:00 and they were terrible at communicating when rooms were done amd we didn’t get in until 4:30. Parking was ridiculously expensive and they put two pending charges for $192.00 and $242.00 before they figured out the correct amount. Had to call back because they charged me for two valet parking permits when i purchased one.. not a great experience"

"Overall our stay was great. Clean room, reasonable amenities, good working air conditioner and friendly staff. The elevator could use some matianance however and clear direction to any stairs."
