"As is very typical of this resort: everything is kept a secret that it is up to the visitor to figure out. For instance, the beach photo shown of the property is the beach where the seaweed washes in daily. There is no swimming but there is a big stink. Their remedy (there is none for the problem) is to send a tractor with trailer onto the beach every morning at 7am to grind away while workers clean up. Sleep in on vacation? Forget it! The swimming beach is on the large bay also shown in the photo. The water is definitely dirty. No one informs you of what restaurants are open when: you must ask. And if you get that information, someone else will tell you something different and no one tells you to make dinner reservations days ahead of when you might actually want to go to one of the restaurants. The absence of information was really annoying. Could they not provide all the information in a one-page handout including a resort map at checkin or in the room? On the plus side, the resort is kid friendly and food is good."

"The beach was perfect"

" This is a perfect couples retreat and we enjoyed our stay at nonsuch escape so much! The room was very clean and the hotel is extremely tranquil, making spending a lot of time in your private pool so enjoyable. Very hot shower and very cold AC. The dining area was never crowded and the food was delicious with great variety. I especially love when hotels opt for à la carte rather than buffet, it elevates the experience. The staff was warm and accommodating with excellent communication and rapid turnaround with any request. I can’t wait to visit again and will certainly book more nights next time. "

"My husband and I went the week of my birthday April 14th 2026. The hotel was clean and well kept I especially loved the beach with its beautiful water and sand. The employees were friendly and polite especially the chef Jo Anne, Sonia the bartender, kelroy the server and colvis the other bartender. We had a wonderful time we surely will be back again."
