Room was nice and comfortable but bathroom let it down, toilet had not been flushed and was full of toilet paper, cold shower would not heat up tried everything and then basin in shower was blocked and filled with water quickly. Very nice location, great customer service, choice for B'fast & clean. The property needs big improvements as it can be very hot in summer days! fan was supplied but didn't help much, we had ground floor room couldn't leave the curtains & window open as no net to keep flies away and to have privacy as can see people traffic outside your room window. Lovely surroundings to have picnic.

Whilst the rooms are well appointed, it's within an old building which shows particularly in places like the bathroom. Breakfast is served relatively late but myself and many of my fellow guests had to forego eating as a key member of staff was late and, even at 8.15 breakfast was not available. They did contact afterwards to apologise and offer a refund on the missed breakfast though. Most of the staff I spoke to were excellent with one or two notable exceptions who must have missed customer service training.

Rooms large & clean , corridor could do with a clean ( radiator window frames) Stayed in room 6 , no sound proofing what so ever with room 7 , everything could be heard ect. Not good when they turn the tv on at 6 am 🙈 Staff lovely & friendly.

Location for Stansted Airport good, in country though. Nice room, bed & shower but dinner is only up to 8:30pm and no breakfast available for early flights as it’s only served from 8am and needed to leave by 7:15. They did offer a takeaway breakfast but it was poor (they don’t normally offer it) and needs to be organised properly for it to be beneficial to the customer.

Nice very remote location, pub very nice, room however had issues, door handle came off, shower tray stained and dirty, dressing table and bedside tables very sticky, fan had the front missing so not usable, room not ready at 3.00. Needs TLC to make it worth the price charged.
