When we arrived for check-in the Expedia reservation didn't exist; we weren't in the system. The receptionist left then returned with an apology, saying check in wasn't until 4pm. She then explained Expedia didn't enter the reservation in their system and further explained it would be about a 10min wait. While waiting, two separate guests arrived early to check in and were accommodated; that was perplexing. After getting to our room and unpacking, we took our shoes off to walk out on the balcony and realized there was sand sticking to our feet. Walking out on the balcony we found the source, lots of sand on the balcony. We didn't want to make a fuss and thought no problem they'll clean in the morning when they make the room. They did make the room in the morning but didn't clean the floors or the balcony. My wife explained the situation to the front desk and someone promptly went to our room and vacuumed and cleaned the balcony. All the personnel we came in contact with were gracious. The restaurants appetizers, drinks, and service were excellent. Kristy, our waitress sent a delicious slice of chocolate cake to our room with our dinner to help us celebrate our 25th anniversary. Our waitress and hostess were wonderful, making sure we're comfortable and taken care of. My wife truly enjoyed the spa where she received a facial and manicure. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return to your spa and resort. Thank you for the accommodations.

I had high expectations for this place. we left for the day ; when we came back to the room the bed was made but the floor didn’t get vacuumed or swept, the sink was dirty and the back door was wide open (we stayed on the first floor) That was big safety concern, the cleaning lady didn’t close it. Lucky we didn’t leave anything of value in the room.

The site appears well maintained and the room was big. The food was terrible, they didn’t have a lot of options, the drinks were mediocre ( tasted fair, always came with flowers attached to drink and placed on the food), the only edible thing were the wings. I would recommend only sleeping there not eating. God forbid you wanted to explore the hotel, you are barraged with questions about needing help. 🙄👀. It was an ok stay, good for hibernation and nothing else.

“So-so” for an Expedia 4 star hotel. Check-in staff was not welcoming, the front desk lady did not say Hello or Welcome or even attempted a smile, but immediately told us we needed to pay a $50 early checkin fee if we wanted to access our room, which she said was ready, at 2:30pm ahead of the 4pm checkin time. Pretty obnoxious first impression. We did not and waited. This hotel seems to have a lot of staycationers from Sacramento- this was not our case we had just driven across the Sierra Nevada ahead of a blizzard… In the room: no duvet cover but comforter sandwiched between 2 sheets (the cheap way). They provided just one fresh bath towel for 2 people on day 2 although both towels were left ontop of shower door to be replaced…In-room bottle of water is $7!! On-site restaurant very average, the food at the Indian restaurant Naan King across the street is much better! On the positive side, our room was spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. Body lotion was divine. Not a bad place, but not great and would expect better for a 4-star Expedia rating.
