A wonderful surprise was that they sent a car to pick us up at the port and to drop us off for free. "I would first like to thank the wonderful staff at Montina, friendly, pleasant, helpful every one of them. The facilities were good, nothing fancy especially if one is used to Western standards but very comfortable, very clean, everything one would need including excellent A/C, comfy bed, very nice big, spacious shower, good lighting, nice, cold mini fridge, free drinking water and that was in a "budget room." Good restaurant with plenty of choices, ice cold beer at the open air...

"Good no-nonsense accommodation. Great value for money. Very short distance to the seafront, bars, restaurants, and dive shops. A little bit tucked away at the back of Sabang, but this is reflected in the pricing. Good sized room - good air-conditioning, decent size fridge. "

"Nice boutique hotel with great staff, perfect for diving as we are near all the diving spots. A bit secluded, need a boat to get out of resort. Great stay overall!"

"Hotel.com listing has coffee in common area---- they charged $1.20 for instant. Listing has pool----half full hot tub sized. Listing has full service spa ----none. Listing has wifi---- works 10% of the time. Listing has stovetop and utensils ---- none. This was a room not a condo. They cleaned the room once in 6 days. Listing says 5 minute walk to the pier------- it is very steep hill---- only a serious athlete could do it in 5 minutes."

"Hard to beat for a diver. Right on the beach, equipment right there and retail shop, friendliest dive instructors (Liam, Aiu, etal), good food, great housekeeping and Maintenance, great pool, walking distance to Sabang is not bad. The staff here is excellent from Receptionists, waitstaff, maint, house keeping etc... These people are Gems! "

"Love this place! Small property on Markoe cove. The beach is a coral beach with a seawall. Water is clear and beautiful. Our room was magnificent with old world charm. AC blew cold. Restaurant was great we ate dinner there once and breakfast everyday. It’s only a 5 minute tricycle ride to the nightlife in Sabang beach if that is your thing. If your looking for solitude and beauty this is it. WiFi was intermittent but I was there to unwind. Cellular signal was strong though. Staff was great and attentive. I will be back. If your never been to Mindoro the water is beautiful. I was on a short stay but next time I plan to dive."
