This was excellent value for $. Conveniently located and quiet. The staff were excellent- frirndly, welcoming and ever helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to family and friends
Big spacious room, breakfast was great with all dishes serving pork clearly labelled, staff were excellent and helped arrange day trips to explore Sapa
The staff are friendly and helpful. Just that the location is not as suitable for old and weak people because there’s a slope to climb before reaching the hotel. Otherwise, it’s very good.
The hotel is great and definitely worth the money. The staff are amazing. So helpful with anything you need. I would come back again just because the staff was so great.
The hotel needs a makeover! The pictures profiled are not current as the hotel is quite run down. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work, there was a big gap above the door out to the balcony, the shower had no drain so the water ran from the shower across the bathroom to a hole in the floor by the toilet. You could hear the people in the rooms adjacent and also anyone in the hallway. On a side note the hotel is set back from the main road so it dampened the street noise somewhat. I am sure back in the day it was a lovely hotel but it needs some work to return the grandeur.

The hotel looks better on the pictures, than in reality. The room was clean, the breakfast was not perfect, but eatable. The swimming pool and gym looked badly maintained. Was very hot and humid inside, all gym equipment was rusty. The staff was nice. In general, goodvalue for money.

Below average
Bellow average , not very clean. Poorly built hotel, tin walls, bathroom not up to standards. Only positive side staff with big smiles and warm welcome.
Despite the friendly staff, the pillow situation was a letdown—two out of three reeked of sweat. Additionally, paying for a mountain view ended up being a subpar experience.
We paid for mountain view and we didn’t disappoint what we have. The property is a bit away from the street so a bit quiet. You need to hike a bit but most people should be ok. I won’t recommend a wheelchair person unless you go in/out using taxi/grab or bus. Traditional wet market doesn’t seems traditional at all. It is only 5 minutes away. ‘Gringo’ price is at least twice more expensive. Try less than half for the asking price.

Freesing in the hotel, in the lobby, in the dinner room, food 5/10.
Great affordable hotel with breakfast included.
Is a little far from the center of Sapa, but, everything is close in Sapa.
The best is the staff of the kitche.
