"The room was cozy, warm, and clean during our chilly November stay, and Lehka was a lovely host! We especially loved the breakfasts, chatting with Newton and enjoying a delicious full English breakfast along with Lehka's delicous banana bread! The location is convenient and charming and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We would happily come back again! A big thank you again to Lehka and Newton :)"

"Martel Guest House was a wonderful place to stay. We had a friendly welcome and communication was easy. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was also a great location and only a short walk to the Underground station making it very easy to get around. "Clean room that was well designed, quiet and in a good central location. I would certainly stay here again. Only thing to note is that this hotel operates a code system for entry/check in, so there's no front desk. This was straightforward, although the signage to the front door could have been better - we had to ask the pub staff who were friendly enough to help. "
