"We booked a last minute night to visit friends at Sunday River. The room was spacious and check-in/check-out went smooth. "We ended up staying at this resort after receiving a call from Hotels.com just two days before our check-in day, informing us that a reservation we had made six months earlier at another hotel had been canceled due to overbooking. Fortunately, the Hotels.com representative was extremely helpful and quickly found us a room here, about 20 minutes from our original location, along with a complimentary room upgrade. The resort itself is impressive and offers the classic feel of a ski lodge. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the overall property appeared well-maintained. While some areas could benefit from modernization, everything was kept in good condition. Check-in was fast and hassle-free. The only downside was the parking situation. Since this is a ski resort, parking is located some distance from the main building. Although there are exits near the parking lot, guests cannot re-enter through those same doors, which made carrying luggage a bit inconvenient. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this property, especially for guests planning an extended ski vacation."
