Convenient walk to old town
A charming little hotel tucked away just a short walk from the old town. The room presented challenges for 3 adults featuring a “full monty” glass bathroom 😅. Fortunately, the staff was helpful and accommodating to waive extra bed when we needed to find another hotel room for our son due to the bathroom issue. We had plumbing issue in the room but was quickly fixed. Self-helped laundry facility was a plus point. Despite the initial hurdles, the room was a good size, and the bed provided a comfortable night's sleep.

We like the design of the room and the style of furniture and lounge area with choices and tea/tea set. Very stylish! The breakfast is excellent.

Very nice experience….somwhat new age with self service kitchen area. Check in was a little unexpected with front desk shared with main hotel, but was accomplished and efficient nonetheless. A little noise shared in hallway with occasional door slams. Overall very nice

Checking in was so simple and fast. The man who helped us (Sasha, I think) was so informative and sweet! The hotel is just outside the wall city and it was easy to explore the city, head back to the room for any reason, then back to the gorgeous city. The trust system kitchen was so great😍😘, easy to grab a snack or drink at any moment. One the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at!

Beautiful hotel with well design rooms just outside the city wall. I loved the room, the bed was comfy, and the hotel had a common space with a kitchen and coffee makers. The hotel is located 1 block outside the city wall, making it east to drive to and walk into the city. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Location was great, room and hotel were great. Only issue was there wasn't much of a barrier in the shower, so water kind of leaked onto the hardwood and into the toilet part of the bathroom every time we showered. Besides having to wipe the floor after showering, I actually loved the shower and the room. I would stay here again.

wonderful Christmas stay
Perfect Christmas stay - Heike provided us the best service before we even arrived, Stefan and Sascha were perfect in explaining the superb menus we enjoyed three evenings in a row. The Villa was also very nice, but we really enjoyed Alter Ego - very tastefully renovated, modern and sleek. We felt in both places fully at home. And the meals were truly incredible. A Christmas to remember for us!

I'm a repeat stay here, so nothing unexpected. Great location, great service, room would have been great if I was under 30. Parking was good, but internet was down both days I was there. Was a good room, but think way over priced for what was provided; breakfast should have been included to justify price.

Lovely lovely lovely!
Great family room in a great location! My kids loved the swing in our room. Community kitchen with the trust system as very refreshing as well. Only downside was no free brekkie but no complaints whatsoever!

Travelling the romantic route.
Fantastic hotel! Would highly recommend!! Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous, huge bed, very comfortable and lots of pillows!!! Most hotels we have stayed in only give one very soft pillow which is not good for those of us who suffer neck pain, so this was a great bonus! Fantastic shower, best room we have had yet when staying in hotels! Excellent location for walking into the city, five minutes away, seating outside the hotel to sit at night with a drink and enjoy the evening when you get back. Also plenty of beverages in the fridges, wines, beers, snacks etc to choose from and pay for when you check out. Has parking which was essential for us as we were travelling on a motorcycle and don’t like to leave it parked in a street somewhere where you can’t see it. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family and have plans to stay again!

The easiest and nicest check in ever, had to check in late so the cards were in an envelope with my name on it and I didn't have to worry about getting into my room. I would be definitely back to the same place.

The hotel was quirky, but clean. It was nice to have little kitchen with water and coffee downstairs. Location was great. The ceiling in the dormer part of the room was dangerous because it was so close to the bed. I hit my shoulder twice.

Very nice modern property in a historic old house. Great location which is walking distance from the Old Town. Room was nicely appointed and reasonable size for a European property. Although we didn't have an opportunity to use it the community kitchen and pantry was an interesting concept.

Very unique and modern facilities in a historic building located two doors down from the main hotel. Very comfortable room with high tech touches. There is an I Pad in the room for use to find local information, use the TV or surf the net. Very nice I would stay there again.
