"Room is clean, staff are friendly, breakfast is excellent. Please note that the hotel is in Lido and takes a bit of time by water boat to reach Venice. Yet there's a beautiful beach nearby and the neighborhood is safe and less hectic."

"What did you like or what was unique about the property? We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grande Italia. The hotel was beautiful, charming, and welcoming. What stood out the most was the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Italy. What didn't you like? There was nothing in particular that we disliked. We had a lovely experience, and everything met our expectations. We would be happy to stay here again."

"I was a little hesitant to stay in Lido, but glad I did. It was a nice quiet break from the crowds in Venice. Location is convenient. There is a bus line that takes you to and from the vaporettos and it runs pretty frequently. It’s a scenic 18 minute walk otherwise. I visited in the fall, so beach season ended, but it’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Easy to get to and from the airport, Venice, Murano and Burano. The hotel itself is quirky and unique. I had a top floor room that was very spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The room had an attic like build, on a slant, which wasn’t a problem for me but might be an issue if you are tall. Breakfast was included and consisted generally of yogurt, bread, pastries, muesli, cold cuts and cheese, soft boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, and sausages, all served buffet style. There were also juices and coffee service. Staff were friendly and English and French are spoken."
