Nice place to stay in the quiet.
Staff is very friendly. Very quiet location. Located about 30 minutes by bus from Lucerne. There's not much to see around the hotel but Swiss public transport takes care of this as there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. You can expect to catch a bus every 40-60 minutes. Our breakfast was included and they always had first rate coffee (lungo). And excellent milk and cheese platter. We were a group of 6 couples and not everyone from a well behaved family - but they accommodated us with a lot of heart and soul. We were a bit noisy during our stay but the hotel staff always politely mentioned this to us.

Pleasant hotel
Hotel itself is excellent with a very pleasant staff. As mentioned by another guest, there is a paper mill across the road. It did not produce any loud noise; just a constant, low level hum. The food at the in house restaurant was good too. Will use it again.

This hotel is off the beaten track and is opposite a factory which is running 24/7 however, there is no noise or anything from it. There are two wood mills along the road as well, so the road can be quite busy with industrial traffic. The reception isn't open on a sunday (when we arrived) however, they give you a code to get your key which is fine. The restaurant isn't open either so bear that in mind. The surrounding area isn't really very vibrant so you may find yourself going further afield for food/drink. When we met the staff the next day, the lady wasn't very friendly to us - I don't know if it was because we were british or bikers but it was a relief to leave the hotel. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious so it probably makes an ideal stop over hotel, but I wouldn't recomend it for a prolonged stay.

Das Hotel ist im Industriegebiet und wird wohl hauptsächlich von Arbeitern gebucht die dann morgens ab 4.00 Uhr gehen, da das Hotel Stahltüren auch zum Speisesaal hin hat die dann automatisch zufallen, denkt man jedesmal das Haus wird eingerissen. Die ganze Nacht hört man ein Brummen wahrscheinlich von einem Ventilator und die ganze Nacht viel LKW-Verkehr, meine Frau und ich konnten die ganze Nacht kein Auge zumachen, weshalb wir nur eine Nacht geblieben sind. Die zweite Nacht haben wir storniert beim Chef, dieses hat problemlos funktioniert und nach einer Woche habe ich auch schon das Geld auf meinem Konto erhalten. Zum Personal muss ich sagen, sie waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die zwei Elektroladesäulen funktionieren nur wenn man ein Tesla fährt, was ich persönlich schade finde denn dies ist aus der Internet Beschreibung in kleinster Weise ersichtlich. Zum Frühstück wie es im Internet dargestellt wird „reichhaltiges Frühstück“ trifft in keiner Weise zu, war sehr enttäuschend. Die Bilder vom Hotel im Internet auf Expedia sind sehr schön in Szene gesetzt lassen aber nicht vermuten das dass Hotel im Industriegebiet liegt. Die Zimmer haben gestunken, vermutlich nach Reinigungsmittel und wenn man den Schrank aufmacht kam einem ein stechender Geruch entgegen dass ich schon an der Kotzgrenze war. Wir werden dieses Hotel nicht nochmal buchen und auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Accueil très souriant de la part du responsable, la nourriture (le steak tartare végétarien) était délicieux, surement un des meilleurs tartare végétarien que j'ai gouté, et un staff (les serveuses) très gentilles ! Si je suis un jour de nouveau dans le secteur et que j'ai besoin de réserver je retournerai clairement à Hotel die Perle

Hier sucht man die Perle umsonst...
Das Hotel die Perle könnte vielleicht tatsächlich eine Perle werden, ist es aber bei Weitem (noch) nicht... Um den 'Perlen-Status' zu erreichen, müsste hier kräftig investiert werden! Der Service ist einigermassen OK, sonst dominieren Lieblosigkeit und Mittelmass. Für den geforderten Preis ist das sehr deutlich viel zu wenig. Ein paar Beispiele: das Bett war nicht komfortabel, die Bettgarnituren eher synthetisch. Ist das Zimmerfenster geschlossen, hat das Zimmer keine Lüftung. Öffnet man aber das Fenster, wacht man morgens mit einer Erkältung auf da das Bett direkt mit dem Kopfteil unter dem Fenster ist... Das gute am Frühstück ist nur, dass es einen gibt... Schade, aber vielleicht wäre das alles auch über den Preis korrigierbar. CHF 70,- wäre ich für den gebotenen Standard vielleicht noch bereit gewesen zu zahlen, nicht aber CHF 160,-

Das Hotel lag nahe meinem Kursort - zum Übernachten ideal. Habe vor Ort feines Nachtessen genossen. Frühstück für glutenfrei Essende eher problematisch - habe (aus Erfahrung) eigenes Brot mitgenommen.

Fint hotell på fel plats
Ett trevligt hotell med bra service, men ligger vid ett industriområde. Kartan på hotel.com hemsida är helt missvisande. Mycket bra mat i restaurangen och en mycket fin frukost. Trevlig personal med stor måtta av engagemang.
