"The Ocean Crest Resort had a homey atmosphere, nicely remodeled and great location just off the highway. Nice ocean view with almost a tree house feel. Not good beach access if you can’t handle stairs - but we enjoyed it."

We had our little kitchenette which was perfect for the two of us, nice table and chairs to sit and play games and a very cozy bed! We were about 5 minutes from the beach (accessible from a trail connecting to the hotel) so we made quite a few trips over to find sand dollars and rocks! "I was a bit worried based off previous reviews but we got what we expected which was just a home base close to the beach for the 4th. It wasnt perfectly spotless but we brought Lysol wipes and made do. The staff member who checked us in was wonderful. There were no bugs or musty smell like other reviews stated. No complaints."

"The front desk staff is SOOOO nice! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was relaxing to sit on the deck. My only suggestion to the owner is to get a better bed for the bedroom. The bed was really hard and we both work up with our backs hurting. Other than that, we loved our stay!"

"No table and chairs in the room. You have to eat in the bed or standing up. The only chair in the room was well worn out and I did not want to put anything on it. Only 3 towels in room for 4 guests. Luggage cart had a flat tire on it. Ok for one night but not anymore."

Check in online says 3 PM Found a note on the door that said check-in was 4 PM Came back at 4:50 PM and called the number on the door and they said check-in was 5 PM There are no amenities, no room cleaning unless requested, which we didn’t know. There’s a lot about this motel that we wish we knew before we came. But the room was perfectly clean. I wanna emphasize that. "
