We what to thank Marco and the fine gentlemen from the Philippines for all there help and hospitality, they were amazing. The place is in walking distance to many sites and places to eat. We would recommend this place to everyone

Okay stay
It was a comfortable room, clean. Toilet seat was not fitted properly. We had a delayed check in time due to train strikes and having to drive into Rome all the way from Bologna. Was asked for a late check in fee which was unnerving. I explained the situation and it was waived. The next morning, breakfast was served in room prompt but was told to check out at 11 sharp which again, was unnerving. Felt very rushed and not comfortable. Room was nicely decorated and spacious but likely won't return.

Dear Anonymus,We are sorry you felt rushed but we only asked respect for the house rule.Our reception close at 8pm, you arrived at 9.30pm and even it was because train strike, receptionist had to come back for your arrival and, as clearly mentioned, late check in is possible but at charge. After your reaction she decide to do not charge even she was working extra hours.Check out time is by 11am, after 11am we just asked to leave the room because we have a new check in and need to clean the room, is it unnerving or respect of the rules?Unnerving is the word that you use and it was exactly our feeling during your short stay.

Great location, good trasport links with bus 70 to Termini right outside front door and metro nearby. Lots of good places to eat and professional area rather than Turist.

Great little Accommodation in a perfect location
Great find on Hotels.com! Looks a bit odd as the rooms are on the 3rd floor of a building with offices underneath, however they are perfect for visiting Rome. Friendly staff giving helpful tips. 15 minute walk to Vatican, Trevi, Pantheon and loads of restaurants and bars a 2 minute walk away! Must go to Cafe Portofino, that was excellent for breakfast & lunch!

The owner was super nice. We arrived super late and he waited for us nonetheless, we are very grateful. The accommodations are very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing . This is FAR from being a high rated property! to start it needs a better management, kids run it and have no interest in serving people well. We got their shower drain was clogged. Room much smaller than it looks on the pictures and breakfast was served on a tray but there's no table to seat so we had to seat on bed and eat. Multiple keys to access the place and bad elevator system. Can only , maybe be a 5 never over 9 as advertised.

The sound insulation is bad. My room is booked as a luxury suite, but it is only average. The property charged Euro 15 for a late check-in which was the first time I came across. Check-out time is 11:00a.m. Right before 11:00 a.m. a very unpleasant receptionist knocked on my door to hurry me to get out of the room. I regret to choose this hotel

It is clearly written on our page as well on the welcome email we send to all our guests that late check in is possible but there is a supplement. You can cancel if not agree with our house rules. We are a guest house with limited reception hours. Maybe you have to read all informations provided to avoid surprise. As well for the check out time that is till maximum 11am. We have to clean the room for the next guest.Regards

This place is an apartment/hotel. But their service is amazing! The room have everything you need, fridge, coffee, tea, wine courtesy, nice shower, beautiful room and very clean! Nice area where you can get in most important places walking about 15 min. Nice breakfast served to your room. The best was their attendant JAMES! He is amazing and will go above and beyond to make sure you get your needs cover. (Please make sure to tip him nicely as he deserves!). I absolutely recommend this place!!!!

Superb. Not a hotel, a room in an apartment which looked just like a hotel room. Incredible breakfast delivered to our room daily, more than many hotels would offer. Clean, great location, with many cafes and restaurants within 100 yards, Vatican 10 min walk. Awesome.

The location was ideal. Close to everything and in a convenient neighborhood. Room was adequate. The shower was not very good. All in all OK. Would not return. Better places to stay in Rome. Not sure why this place gets such a high rating. Cheers.

The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were too “thick” for my husband and no option. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Elevator was very small. People were nice.

Absolutely outstanding. Marco and MJ were so kind, so friendly, especially to our 2 year old. He’s made friends for life now! Their recommendations for day trips, food joints and transport were on-point and so appreciated. Breakfast was always enjoyable too! The room was beautiful, clean, with a comfy bed. The location could not be better with public transport dotted around the immediate area, impressive (and not too expensive) restaurants all around - and all the major attractions within 25ish mins. An all-round amazing experience, especially as we were nervous travelling with said 2 year old. Thank you guys!

There is no one working at the property except to check you in. There are no lights on in the hallway, which has no windows, until you move close to the “office” which has a motion sensor for a light. They give you 4 keys to get in and out of the property and the main door of the hotel is almost impossible get in. The bed in the room was nothing like what was online. More of a cot. I would not recommend this “hotel” to anyone.

The location is very convenient. Within walking distance of many major attractions and the Vatican. We made our plan quite aggressively so we could visit all the tourist spots at least once, sometimes twice, during our 3-night/4-day (3 solid days) stay. We averaged 20 km or 12.5 miles of walking each day. No other forms of transportation are required if your only focus is the usual attractions such as the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Roman Forum, Colosseum, the Vatican etc (the attached pictured attractions are all within 25-minute walking distance). The room was spacious, quiet, and adequately air-conditioned. The bed and beddings are comfortable. We could unwind and rest well each night after a full day of sightseeing. We are good to go again after breakfast each morning. Ah, the breakfast; this review is not complete unless with a picture of the day's most important meal. It was delicious, balanced, nicely prepared and presented. Marco also helped us arrange airport pickup and transportation to the cruise port in Civitavecchia after our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Town House 62 very much, from check in to check out, Marco and Mark were very friendly and helpful. The room was awesome, spacious, clean, comfortable, homey. The hotel was within walking distance to practically everything we wanted to see - the Vatican, Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo and more. Whatever we couldn't walk to was just a bus ride away with the bus stop right in front of the hotel. We would stay here again if we come back to Rome.

I had the best stay at Town House 62. This was my first time in Rome, so I was nervous in general. But the area was great, it was super convenient to all of the tourist attractions" but then you were able to go back to your room and be in a quiet location. The room was clean, the staff was incredible, super helpful, and personable. They kept my bags for me before and after check in and answered any and all questions I have. Breakfast may have been my favorite part. I would highly recommend Town House 62 .
