Very friendly and helpful host. Alessandro welcomed us and helped us bring the luggages up to the 3rd floor as there is no lift in the building. The room is very clean and cozy. Alessandro showed us their own tourist map of Rome, very helpful and useful.

Amazing stay! Our host Alessandro was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and responsive, and helped carry our luggage upstairs. The location is superb with easy access to all the major attractions. We were able to explore the historic sites and charming streets with ease. They provided us with a detailed map that included recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. Would definitely stay here again!

Recommended.
Stayed here for 4 nights in a twin room. The room was comfortable. Very clean. Beds made daily and towels changed. Good shower. Location excellent. The host was very friendly and helpful. Would not suit anyone with mobility problems as there are 3 flights of stairs. I would stay here again and I would recommend this property.

The BlueHostel is a nice place. It was very easy to get to the main train station and the metro. It was only a 20-25 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. The room was clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful and kind. I definitely recommend the BlueHostel.

What a gem. Ercole and Alessandro are wonderful hosts who clearly have a passion for what they do. They provided a map of Rome with locations of all the main attractions plus locations and descriptions of their dining recommendations. A true locals guide to Rome. I went to as many of their spots as I could get to and wow, such treasures. The Blue Hostel is perfectly located close to everything including metro, but just outside of the crowded fray. This was my first trip to Rome, but surely not my last. I know where I’m going to stay for all future visits! Ps the room was charming and gorgeous and clean, with ac and quite a comfortable bed.

The room was quaint, very clean and stylish. We really appreciated the extra attention and help from Andrea. He helped us throughout our trip and gave us his cellphone number to text with any questions we might have. The hotel was a quick 8 minute walk from the train station and several Metro stations were close. The room was sooo wonderfully quiet each night after a long day in the city. And the added touch of 2 cold water jugs in our refrigerator each night was a freshment like no other. No hesitations, I’d book again in a heartbeat! Great place with great staff!

Nice Place in the Center of Rome
The BlueHostel is located in a block a couple of blocks from Rome’s central terminal. It’s right in the center of Rome and convenient to everything. The accommodations are tidy and comfortable, and the gentlemen that operate it exceptionally nice. It’s just the sort of place we look for when we travel (rather than a larger hotel). Two things that people should be aware of, the beds are firm (but comfortable), and it’s located on the 3rd floor, which might be an issue for those with mobility issues.

The property is situated on the second floor of an historic building, not far from the main Rome Termini. Internally the apartment has clearly been recently modernised and offers a generous layout and everything you could need for a short break. Our check in was arranged by Andrea, who was most informative and happy to offer suggestions on restaurants and tourist spots in the city. Comfy bed and great shower, what more do you need. Check out was with Ercole who kindly offered us a tin of biscuits as an apology for a small mishap. A lovely gesture. Highly recommended.

Unique hotel experience. Andrea who welcomed us was great and gave us lots of tips and information. It is a three-story walk-up so this experience might not be for everyone, but for those who can handle that the location was great, the room was updated and quiet, and it had everything we needed.

The hotel was in a central part of Rome, a nine minute walk from the train station and walking distance to the many of the sites. The hotel staff was friendly and recommended restaurants for us to visit and also gave us advice for how to visit the sites for the least crowded entrances. The room was clean and comfortable. Be prepared to walk up three flights of stairs with luggage though!

Great location
Great stay at Rome. Ercole runs a very nice hostel. Him and his staff are very friendly and have provided helpful information during our visit. Although there is no breakfast included this is absolutely no problem as there ate many opportunities around the corner. The only “disadvantage” is, that there is no lift in the building. So for those having difficulties climing several stairs this might be problematic. Anybody else, no problem. Another plus: Many “must sees” are in close walking distance. If we return to Rome we will definite Consider The Blue Hostel again.

Au cœur de Rome
Belle chambre climatisée propre, au calme et très bien placée, au centre des monuments historiques ! Le propriétaire est aux petits soins et disponible a tout moment. Tout petit bémol Il n’y a pas d’ascenseur dans l’immeuble.

Der ganze Scharm der Unterkunft war einfach schön. Wir haben uns richtig Wohl gefühlt. Ercole war sehr hilfsbereit, immer ansprechbar und sehr Aufmerksam. Durch die Vorlage unserer Ausweise, am Anreisetag, hat er gesehen, dass meine Freundin am nächsten Tag Geburtstag hatte. Als wir am Abend zurück in unser Zimmer kamen lag ein kleines Geschenk auf dem Bett für Sie. Einfach nur toll. Hinzu kam, dass Ercole bzw. das Blue-Hostel einen Stadtplan mit eigenen Empfelungen für einen Besuch in Rom erstellt hat. So kamen wir in den Genuss der besten Pizza der Stadt und vieles mehr. Das Zimmer hat alles was man brauch. Es ist sehr schön und mödern eingerichtet, sauber, sowie auch ruhig gelegen zum Innenhof. Wir werden wiederkommen es ist nur eine Frage der Zeit.
