This hotel is such a great gem tucked away on a very quiet street a stone's throw from the Trevi Fountain. It's luxuriously designed, with a tiny but elegant and much-appreciated kitchen, a walk-in closet, and the best shower we came across in Europe. The staff is delightful, the snacks and drinks left for us were a great idea, and the breakfast is generous and charming (it arrives in a little linen-lined wicker basket). We loved everything about the hotel, except for two details: if you need absolute darkness to sleep, note that there are little lights (on the light switches, outlets, etc.) that don't ever turn off and the bathroom door is frosted glass, so light comes through there. Also, the floors throughout are wood or tile, which is lovely, but, for example, when someone elsewhere in the hotel leaves for his/her flight at 5am, you hear the footsteps and the suitcases dragging. Overall, I would definitely return and recommend the hotel. But if you're a light sleeper, you may want to consider an eye mask and/or ear plugs.
