Absolutely enjoyed my time at Villa Zaccardi! The staff is super amazing, so very helpful and attentive. They truly go above and beyond, helping with anything you ask. The location is away from the heavy tourist areas in Rome, but directly situated on the #8 line tram that will drop you off within a 10 min walk to the Colessum. The tram is inexpensive and a quick ride to city attractions. They also have a fabulous patisserie in the hotel, and the blonde lady that works there is just precious and such a joy! I recommend you try everything! They have a nice little bar with tapas and pizza- ask for Marco, he's super. The hotel is clean and in a safe area despite the unfortunate graffiti that you will find all over Rome. Lots of positives here for the price but I promise you wont find a better staff at any other hotel.

A lot of people on this app love to complain I think. The breakfast was lovely, the service was awesome, the dining area and bar inside was fantastic and the room was great. Loved it here and was super happy with our choice

Very decent hotel. Clean, hospitable, great breakfast option's and good restaurant menu including gluten free pasta and pizza's (they make theyre own gf dough) if you dont mind using busses its fine otherwise a bit of walk to rhe nearest train station

Smelly room. Had to be changed rooms twice. Did not clean out room 2 days in a row. Also, we had to sleep in the room without AC for two days. We booked the excursion tour at the hotel, but they didn’t give us full explanation about the meeting place. It cost us 44 Euros to go back and forth between the destination place and the booking office.

The hotel was quaint, the elevator was tiny.. Their breakfast is great. The hotel is a little far from city center so not walkable.

Mixed bag.
Beautiful property in a nice quiet neighborhood - a different feel than being in central Rome. Staff was attentive, asked if we needed help arranging travel to the airport the next morning and answered all of our questions. Had a nice lunch at the on property restaurant - although they said they ran out of lobster...at lunch - didn't quite understand that. Our quad room however had a very noticeable smell to it. We were accommodated with another room for my wife and daughter who could not adapt to the smell. My son and I just slept with the window open and fan on. The shower took a long time to get hot water and the shower door was very difficult to open from the inside. Some minor inconveniences (plus a larger one for the odor) - it was still a nice one night stay.

This is a nice little hotel. When we discovered that the no. 8 tram right in front of the hotel would take us quickly to Trastevere or into Rome we were quite happy.

Fantastic hotel for seeing Rome
Loved the hotel. Especially the terrace, bar and restaurant. The bedrooms at the front are a little noisy from the road outside.

This property is prime location just outside of all the main tourist attractions. Easy 10-15 minute taxi ride to everything! We even took a 3.5 mile walk from the Trevi fountain back to the hotel one evening. Beautiful accommodations too with a great dining area and delicious breakfast and cappuccino’s! Definitely would stay here again.

Excellent service and nice clean hotel. Great location. Keep in mind there are plenty of stairs to go up to street level and down to the beach. Morning breakfast was delicious and included with the cost of the room

Nicely situated, close to Vatican, easy access to remaining historic places, bus stop right at the entrance. Close to Trastevere for lovely food and walk around. We booked the apartment with breakfast which tasted good. Maybe starting breakfast early might be better as 0730 can be a bit late specially if you want to go early to vatican or colosseum. Room was modern, had safe and cupboard which were tidy and clean, amazing toilet and showers. Both us and the kids enjoyed the stay. Beds were comfortable and room service was excellent. Pointers for improvement would be to supply a microwave (to warm water for baby milk) or at the very least a kettle and some hot beverage selection. I would definitely book villa zaccardi again as I totally enjoyed the stay.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Zaccardi. If you don't mind living a bit outside the city center this is an extremely nice hotell with helpful and kind staff. Breakfast was continental style and bus 8 will take you right to the city center. Walking distance to some nice dining in Trastevere, just perfect.
