Our host Stefano was very kind, responsive, and informative about restaurant recommendations nearby and attractions in Rome. He is incredibly caring and supportive to our stay. He kindly arranged the transfer to the airport despite out urgent request. The room was clean, cosy, and quiet. We also loved the perfect location - within walking distance to the station and main attractions such as Colosseum. Highly recommended!

Located on the ground floor of a vintage building, my room was clean and comfortable. It is a ten minute walk from the train station in an area that is surprisingly quiet, given the number of small restaurants and cafes in the area. It is also just a short 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. Stefano was also a great host, communicating with me before my arrival and, when my arrival was delayed so that I arrived at the end of staffing hours, he was still there to let me in (and had also sent me self-checkin instructions, in case I arrived after he had left).

I had chosen a property with a/c because at night I get hot flashes. So I was informed that ac available only on summer. Yet it still was like summer when we went there.. Sleep avoided me. We opened the only window and the noise from the street was way more than I could tolerate. It was a couple of long days and nights…

Lovely place, had a great time! Couldn’t find the place originally as there are no signs other than the intercom! No complaints otherwise. Stefano, our host was amazing, went above and beyond. Went to a couple of his reccomended places and all were great! Definitely would recommend :)

Gulliver's lodge is exactly as described, a charming room with private bath in the middle of Rome. Our rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. Stephano was a delightful host, who was on top of our few needs. If we get to come back, we will definitely stay here again.

Good budget stay and great host
A lovely little place at a very reasonable price. Stefano was an excellent and attentive host giving some excellent suggestions for beer in the city. He was always at hand via WhatsApp if needed and happy to help. Saluté Stefano!

The host was so helpful when ever we needed him. The room was lovely and clean. The location could not have been better your literally in the middle of everything. If your looking for a short break in Rome then i highly recomend gullivers lodge.

The location was excellent, really easy to walk to all the main sites. The property itself was pretty basic but perfectly fine for a city break when you’re not in the room very much. The staff when required were really helpful and accommodating.

Une dosette de Nescafé et un sachet de thé en guise de « cadeau de bienvenue », c’est vraiment peu généreux lorsqu’on vient pour 4 nuits! Douche bouchée et le gérant me répond que j’aurais du prendre le Service ménage, que ce sont mes cheveux qui sont responsables du problème de plomberie ! Monsieur est de mauvaise foi ! pas un effort pour améliorer le confort des hôtes Aucun meuble pour poser les vêtements , trousses de toilette… À part ça, la chambre est bien située

Chère Madame Delisee, merci pour votre avis. Je m'attendais à une telle critique, car lorsqu'elle est entrée à la réception, elle contestait déjà le fait qu'elle avait réservé un hôtel et non une maison d'hôtes. Le verre de bienvenue est offert par mes soins le jour de l'arrivée et n'est pas facturé au client. Elle a refusé le service de nettoyage tous les jours et ne voulait pas que quiconque entre dans la chambre. Il a signalé que la douche était bouchée le deuxième jour de son séjour et ne m'a pas demandé d'intervenir. La chambre est meublée dans un style urbain avec une armoire ouverte et des béquilles, la salle de bain dispose de toutes les commodités. Il a été récemment rénové et est équipé de tout le confort. Je suis apprécié des clients, comme on peut le lire dans les avis précédents. En conclusion, elle n'a pas aimé ma structure tout de suite et il n'y avait pas moyen de la faire changer d'avis. Si vous souhaitez revenir et passer des vacances avec moi, je vous offrirai le meilleur service.

Tag selv shampoo mm med, der var kun 2 tynde breve shampoo til 4 dage og 2 ruller toiletpapir. Bruser trænger til afkalkning. Så værelset trænger til en kærlig hånd, og en ny madras. Dear Madam, thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at my guest house. I would like to point out that at check in you have expressly refused the daily cleaning service. So the maid never came in to clean the bathroom and refill shampoo and toilet paper. The mattress is a personal matter, but other customers like it. I look forward to seeing you for a next stay.
