- Hotel is a 30 minute drive from the airport (despite being next to it on a map)
- There is no free shuttle - you pay 20-30 euros EACH WAY to the airport. Find a hotel with a free shuttle, it's worth the extra cost.
- There is nothing to walk to in the area, but there is a gas station in the front of the hotel with cars coming all night long.
- There were rowdy teenagers staying up all night next door to us, and we could hear them like they were in the room, laughing and yelling from 11pm to 4am.
- Wifi didn't work.
- There is nobody on site overnight in case of problems.
We arrived at the airport from Rome around 8pm, but there was no shuttle waiting (apparently you're expected to pre-book, but this is not clear from the listing and there was no communication from the hotel). We called the hotel and they told us to take a taxi which cost 30 euros.
We had a very early flight so we booked a shuttle to the airport at 5am. The driver showed up at 5:15 in a beat-up van with no seatbelts. When we arrived at the airport, he told us the charge was 22 euros. I only had a 50 on me, and he didn't have enough change, so he started walking up to random people asking if they had change. He was only able to give me 15 back, so I paid 35 euros for a ride to the airport in the morning. Highway robbery.
Also there was a spot of what may have been blood on the wall behind the bed, it was hard to say.
This was the worst hotel experience I've had in many years.
